Nice park with beautiful view. Lots of restaurants around. Nice walk around the park and the city.
Parking is the only thing I hate (limited to 3 hours)
And no built Restrooms
Love, love, love, taking walks here during the Spring and Summer months. This park is always a host to community events and dance recitals. Locals walk their dogs here, take a break on the beach, and have picnic dates on the open grassy areas. Then, if you enjoy a good circuit workout, the park has stationary gym workouts to try. But, my favorite part about this park are the sweet geese and ducks. Sometimes, after rainfall, the geese will hang out on the grass and scare the local kids away - It's funny to watch. If you're a skilled photographer, you can get some inspiring shots of nature and the lake. If you're a shy, quiet kind of person, I'd recommend going on a walk in the morning. Weekends during the summer are busy! So, be prepared for a full parking lot, busy beach, and lots of noise. Otherwise, this is a great spot to go if you're a social person and wants to grab a cocktail drink nearby. Also, new park amenities are coming soon, I can't wait for the new construction to be finished.
Great family park!! I highly recommend taking one of the dinner cruises on the 4th of July then hanging out for the awesome fireworks coming from Hudson and the several Minnesota cites going on at the same time. I was amazed!!!
Beautiful park with walking/ running paths along the river. Ampitheater, concerts, dinner cruises, picnic tables and grills, Snack Shack, beach, and great place to walk your dog. Just moved here so haven't experienced it without snow yet but can't wait till spring/ summer when the beach is open.
