I went with food on their Features menu, so I got the Patty Melt and the Sweet Chili Cauliflower. I don't regret the Cauliflower but I do regret getting the Patty Melt, not because it was bad, but because I seen the Rotisserie Chicken dinner the person next to me got! It looked and smelled amazing! The staff were very friendly and were always checking up on me, and the building decor is very nice as well.
Great location and great food. We had the brie cheese curds as an appetizer. It's a little stretch to call them curds, but they were still decent. But the flavor wasn't great enough to get me to buy them again. A bit overpriced for the quantity you get, but it is brie I guess. The salt and vinegar fries were awesome, as were the regular fries. The beer batter walleye was spectacular. Tasty bun even! Would definitely order that again. Well worth the money. My wife enjoyed the tuna melt a lot. I'm not a tuna person, but it was good. I ended up eating the bread by itself, since it was too large of a serving for her to finish, becuase it was so tasty. Our 3 year old got the Mac and cheese. Look basically like Kraft box Mac and cheese. That was $5, fine. Asked for a small side of fresh fruit, which ended up doubling the cost of her meal. That was a bit of a shock. The atmosphere is great and parking was only .50/hour. Would definitely recommend and go back again when in the area.
My family went here to celebrate my sister's birthday so we had a group of 10 for brunch. This was our first time visiting but everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I had the salmon power bowl and it was good. My sis opted for the shrimp one. They were tasty but the overall servings were smaller than expected. My salmon was a decent size but hers had only 3 medium shrimp on it so I ended up sharing some of my fish with her (the pic shows extra broccoli in my bowl as she does not care for broccoli).
I ordered coffee but it was tricky trying to get a refill. I finally asked but they said they did not have any carafes available to just leave at the table. However, my partner did get numerous refills of his soda without even having to ask so I am unsure why there was the discrepancy.
My partner had the prime rib hash and he enjoyed it but didn't think it was anything special. The three of us all voiced that we would try something different if we went back.
The parking can be a mess around there and today was no different. After driving around for 10m we finally found a spot 4 blocks away up the hill. Others in our group had similar stories so get there earlier than your reservation so you can be on time.
Had a great experience! Went there for my birthday. As soon as we arrived, was greeted by two hosts and the very smiley young male host took us to our seats. We sat outside the patio because it was a very nice day. At first we sat in a sunny area and asked if we could sit in a shaded area where we could enjoy the scenery. He gladly obliged. This was our first time there and the waitress was very patient, helpful and very friendly. Ordered some cocktails drinks: raspberry lemonade martini and bloody Mary, had the tuna poke and bacon wrap shrimp for appetizers and our entrees Philly cheese steak sandwich and the streak n fish combo. For dessert we had the cocoa chocolate cake…yummmm! Everything was very delicious! On the plus side, the river view scenery is beautiful. 😍 Sorry no menu pictures because the waitress told us they will be changing the menu to cater for the summer because what we had was catered for the winter. Looking forward to coming back again and checking out their summer menu updates. The reason for the 4 stars only, because you have to pay for parking and no valet either. I would give it 4.5, if I could too.
The restaurant and service is great. Our drinks were good. The Brie cheese curds are yummy. The patio just has an awesome atmosphere overall. Our food was sort of meh, that’s why only 4 stars. For a $17 sandwich and $16 burger, they were just average. Would go back though, the place is great.
