  I Grew Up Here As A Child in the 70's and Mom Had All the Kids with her...We were low income and we Always Looked Forward To Going Every Summer!! The Bible Stories for the Kids...The Late Night Coffee Clutches For The Moms..The Amazing Smell of the Mess hall and The Bell that Rang to Let Us Know to Come and Eat.and the Running Around the Flag Pole if you Wanted to get your Mail..The Wishing Well with The Water and Frogs in it out by the Fellowship Hall..The Walks to Sawyers Down the Train Tracks...and Watching the Parachuters Drop near by....The Horn that Went off Every Morning To Wake us Up...The Cleanest Cabin Award That We Won A lot..Cabin #7..The Pontoon Rides...Swimming where We Had to use the Buddy System imposed by June Stowell...I loved That Woman..She was the Sr. Lifeguard...We Had To Swim and
  do Tests and Get Certain Color Bands to Go in Different Parts of the Water...Blue was for the Deep..I remember on the Lasssst Day of Camp ..My Mom and I and June was out in the Water and I Just Couldnt Dive in the Deep water so June Let me Dive off the Slide and I Got to Earn My Blue Swimming Band...That Moment Was So Special and Priceless..I miss June and My Mom .Those Were The Best Happy Years of My Life...Thank You Army Lake and The Sweet Shop!!

  After studying the Honorable Reverend William Booth from many angles and perspectives I believe he would have loved to pray at the Salvation Army Lake Camp in East Troy, Wisconsin. Although under constant spiritual attack, I have come to know this camp by the indelible Christ shaped thumbprint which has been pressed into more than a few hearts of locals who have fond memories of, "When I was a kid I went there and was introduced to Jesus Christ", or many other stories I heard as I stood outside of a storefront near East Troy, WI. Ringing bells out of respect for such a great man of God who lived out a faith which most of us can only read about because of our compromises. Ringing bells around the holidays is my way of holding a line some how. To still say I stand and draw attention to the ones Christ told His followes to help. Now not all of it, in my opinion, but this Salvation Army lake camp is a place Mr. Booth would have smiled upon. The camp seems to continually draw from the source of Christ. Thank God for the Booth family. If you live within a few hundred miles of this camp, find a teadon to go.

  It is a Salvation Army Camp that runs programs for The Salvation Army in Wisconsin and the Upper Penninsula of Michigan all year long. There are about 8 weeks of Summer Camp Programming and several other programs throughout the year.
  
  I'm pretty sure rentals are available when The Salvation Army is not running a Program.

  I love Army Lake Camp. It's a beautiful area. There is a lot to do. The staff is excellent. Highly recommended.

  WOW! What a wonderful store in Waterford, WI. Very clean, organized, and inexpensive! All the staff was very friendly! I will definetly shop this Salvation Army store often!
