“I moved from a large town with a fancy library and was concerned that such a small town wouldn’t serve my voracious library habit. But I had nothing to worry about. I adore the library, the staff, and the innovative programs like being able to check out craft kits and of course Pi day. But the real hidden secret at Barret is their used book room. Walk downstairs any day they are open and it is used book heaven. A constant influx of new titles at such low prices you can spend $25 and need a wheelbarrow to haul your times to the car. Everything from bestsellers, first editions, and lovely antique books. Most books are $1 or $2 with a few special titles priced slightly higher. Oh and DVDs , games, puzzles and even free magazines.”
