“$30 a night! Elkhorn Campgrounds has just been opened to the public for camping from April 20 to Oct 30. In the past it was only open for an annual fair and for large RV clubs or camping groups that wanted the entire facility. Things have changed. You can make reservations online on their website. It doesn't have a pool or putt putt course, but it has what most people want and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than most higher amenity parks. We paid $30 a night and included electric and water hook up. Dump stations on property. The wooded area has 167 sites and the open areas have another 350 or so. It's clean and quiet. It's on a fairgrounds but you would never know it. Quaint feeling.”

“I love this place!!! Visited this camp with my church back in 1999 for a retreat and i had great time!!! Went horse back riding, cabins were great, dining hall too!!!! Been wanting to go back ever since!!!! Would happily recommend this camp to anyone!!!!”

“Beautiful! Plush foliage. Nice deck with seating. Well kept...garbage removed, "port o' potty" refreshed today! LOL. Two nice geese families frolicking...cute!. Frogs...turtles...various birds. Lots of life! Great walking pathways... Funny, I forgot my camp chair in the morning. Later, I returned and IT WAS STILL THERE! Plus, a nice fishing pole was leaning on my chair. Not mine. So whomever forgot it, it's still there. LOL. Nice community.”

“this was honestly one of the best experiences of my life all of the guides are so much fun and so sweet they definitely take their time to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. I highly recommend taking the full tour it’s so worth it and the views are breathtaking. “Amazing park. Beautiful, well kept, nature done right! I know the local police do practice events here, I've had them jump out pointing assault rifles at me, but it's still a great park! They post notices when they do anything here. Great park. Can't recommend it enough. Rain or shine, place is great!”

“We got married at the camp on 09/29/18 and it was fantastic. Bob and Jorja are really responsive and let us come out a bunch of times before the day. The camp itself is clean, cute, and the perfect canvas for a casual barn wedding; we weren’t limited to any specific caterer or style, which was awesome. I would definitely recommend a wedding here for those who are interested in a more DIY decor approach. The camp really is lovely and we loved spending the whole weekend there!”

“Beautiful mid-size State Park with easy access to Lake Geneva. Campground is gorgeous with lots of electric sites. The campground shower facility is very nice. Our favorite part about the campground or the large campsites with lots of grassy area behind the gravel pad for kids to play. There is a somewhat small amount of hiking trails throughout the park but they are all fairly easy and well maintained and bring you through several beautiful parts of the park. There is a lot of picnic areas with beautifully maintained grass and lots of parking throughout the park. The playground is excellent.”
