“I always drove by after they closed or before they opened. Today, my schedule let me stop in, and HOLY SMOKES. This place is a candy store for foodies like me! We grabbed a whole rabbit, and I just finished my share! It was phenomenal! But the store is clean, and well organized. I can't wait to try the pie we picked up! I would have warmed it up tonight, but I'm full of rabbit and potatoes! I am so glad we stopped in!”

“I take all of my salvage metal, copper, lead and aluminum along buckets of scrap nails, screws and bolts to this company. The staff is very accommodating and professional. It is also a great place to get your frustrations out when throwing your old memories of the past when involves scrap metal like old lighting fixtures, metal furniture frames and mowers that don't work anymore. I also feel that I do get the right amount of money for taking it here.”

“I grew up swimming here and when it was still open with life guard's. They closed it done when the lake was contaminated with E.Coli. It got contaminated by the Hawthorne Melody milk factory that once sat across the creek from Trippe Lake. I believe it had something to do with the old pipes from the old factory which was either running into the ground under the Lake or just in the lake I can't remember for sure. Anyways from what I know today is that it is safe to swim in Trippe Lake now and that they never did reopen the Lifeguard/Food Building which did have 2 Bathrooms with Showers and locker room. I take my kids here from time to time and share my stories of the town I grew-up in and the Lake I swam at with my friends and family. Also tell them there use to be a metal slide in the water and raft that was in the middle of the lake. I recommend this area for all families old and Future ones to come visit Trippe Lake, and make new memories also to share yours with everyone you love in life.”
