  We visited Bloom Backyard for my glamping bachelorette party! Laurel did an amazing job setting everything up and organizing our flower crown activity. The weather wasn’t great (down pour and storms) but that didn’t stop us from having a blast!! Laurel is such a sweet individual, that she would even come to check in on us to make sure we were all okay in the down pour and even offered guest bedrooms inside. Thank you for the awesome experience!

  Bloom Lovely Farm is located on the perfect plot of land situated conveniently close to downtown Germantown yet allows you to feel like you are in the country! I LOVED visiting this space and working with Laurel to plan the floral arrangements and decor for a special photo session. Laurel is a rockstar! She created the most gorgeous and unique floral bouquets, table centerpieces, and decor items. I look forward to working with her again some day! :)

  I can’t say enough good things about Laurel and Bloom Floral and Event Design. She was beyond helpful! Laurel not only helped us sort out our floral vision/arrangements for our first wedding but she ended up stepping in again at last minute, with about 40 days until the wedding, to help us completely re-plan our big day (due to Covid restriction at our previous venue). She was so responsive and had great suggestions and recommendation as we coordinated the new event at a family member’s home. She not only acted as our florist that day but took on the role of coordinator/planner. She was calm and collected as she set up the tent, received calls from other vendors to coordinate drop offs, and patiently worked with us and our families. The final product was beyond what I expected. She had a much better vision than I did - she totally nailed it. The flowers, tent, and tables were beautiful and the little details she helped lay out were in thoughtful places. (Not to mention the flowers were locally and sustainably sourced which was super cool to us). Anyways, if you’re considering hiring her...do yourself a favor and just do it!

  I’ve done two floral workshops with Laurel and absolutely LOVED each one! She is a great designer, teacher and host. The workshop area is spacious and perfect for creative fun. The outdoor areas offer a wonderfully casual social setting to unwind and enjoy food and beverages. Can’t wait for my next visit!

  Bloom was amazing! Flowers were above what I had imagined. Laurel was so easy to work with and full of great creative ideas. The tables were beautifully decorated, and she had a great selection of choices to pick from. She gave wonderful insight into helping us with other choices we had to make ! Great mix of flowers down to fresh cut lavender and beautiful roses and many more . She listened well to certain things we wanted to incorporate into the bouquets. The best part was the stunning wood cross with a beautiful spray of flowers and eucalyptus!!! I would highly recommend Bloom and would definitely use them again for my next daughter!!!
