Uncle Larry’s Rustic Inn

Hands down the best restaurant in Hartford.

We have not had a meal from here that we haven't enjoyed & the staff is top-tier.

Everything from the prime rib, fish, burgers, old fashions, cheese curds-- you can't go wrong with whatever you pick.

Not to mention that the owners support & give back to their local community

We do enjoy ULRI! It is probably our favorite local joint. The staff is nice, friendly and relaxed. We usually eat at the bar but there is plenty of room upstairs for large groups or a party. The food is tasty, burgers are our favorite. It is always a friendly group of locals having a nice time. That Shakira though, watch out for her!

Our family had a wonderful experience at Uncle Larry's! Uncle Larry's has a children's menu with a picture of Uncle Larry for the kids to color with Crayola crayons.. Both the adult and children's menu has American Fare including a fish fry! The cheese curds were just as good if bit better than the fast food restaurant with custard... yes they were that good. We all had cheeseburgers and our burgers were cooked correctly, juicy, fresh, and by far the best tasting I've had in a long time. The fries are definitely not pulled from the freezer and fried. I had the sweet potato fries which were were not too salty, slightly crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. So so good! The regular fries were the same. They have a full bar with soda, beer, wine and N/A specialty options too. Thanks Uncle Larry for the great meal. We will be back!
