Just beautiful! The fall colors were popping and you could see for miles! What's neat,is you can see Big Cedar lake in the distance! I even sneaked a kiss from my girl! Highly recommend!👍🥴
Beautiful views to the south (Holy Hill), west (Pike Lake) and north (Slinger). East is blocked by trees unfortunately. Second highest point in the state, well worth the climb for the views.
A nice blend of various length trails with hardwood forest, small forest ponds, kettles to walk around and over, and the climb up the tower for a wonderful view of the county around you. Be aware that the trails can be muddy and slick. If it is a December day just above freezing, wear boots with some tread, and maybe something to slip on before getting back in your car.
Beautiful trail. Steep but not too bad. Once to the tower it's 96 steps to the top.
Well, let's just say I worked off my lunch and bit the dust on our way back from hitting the trail for a geocache. We challenged our leg strength and climbed the tower to get a better view of the land before heading back to the car. Beautiful day but really muddy trail. I can definitely "feel the burn" after slipping down the hillside even when we decided to take the road less traveled. We saw a little family of deer cross our path in the woods as well. All in all, great hike, made the find and I got my steps in:-)
