We recently purchased a used 2019 Rockwood Roo from Scenic RV. The entire purchasing process was easy. We also purchased an extended warranty after receiving a really good offer from their finance manager. We have had some minor service needs but all have been taken care of without issue in the 30 Day Warranty Period offered with the purchase of a used camper.

We bought our first camper here almost 10 years ago, it was a great experience then and a great experience now!

My wife and I purchased our travel trailer from Scenic RV in Slinger, WI a year ago. We waited to write a review because we also wanted to include our experience with any follow-up service that might be required. However, we haven't needed any follow-up service during the year we owned the trailer, so we're leaving a review now!

We purchased a Flagstaff 21FBRS which is a great couples trailer though it will sleep a third person in a pinch. We've taken the trailer on several camping trips over the last year including one that was over 1,500 miles. For those that don't know, Flagstaff is part of Forest River and Flagstaff is one of their better quality lightweight trailer that is easily towable with a half-ton truck.

Now let me talk about the sales process. We had been shopping for a couple of months when we got a call from the sales manager in Baraboo. He told us that there was a trailer for sale that fit our needs that just arrived at their Slinger lot. We went there the next day to check it out. Chad, one of the salespeople at the Slinger location reviewed the features of the trailer with us and he also showed us some other models for comparison. We really liked working with Chad because he didn't pressure us and left us alone to look around, but was always available for questions. When we decided to buy the trailer he gave us a fair price.

Something important to note is that some RV dealers will add processing, documentation, delivery, or demonstration fees to the sales contract. We learned that some dealers will charge up to $800 for these fees and you won't learn about them until they write up the contract. Slinger RV does NOT play these games. They give you a price and then the rest is government fees (e.g. tax, title, license.) They do not play games in the sales process and there are no surprises.

Chad also recommended the Equalizer anti-sway weight distribution hitch we also purchased. That hitch has worked great on all of our trips.

We had to schedule our trailer pick-up out a couple of weeks because their service department was super busy at the time. However, that was OK because the summer camping season hadn't started yet. At pick-up we worked with Martin, one of the service technicians, who installed our hitch and also gave us the full walk-thru of the trailer. He was comprehensive in covering everything important. This purchase was our third trailer and we have 12 years of camping experience, but he also shared some useful tips that were helpful even for experienced campers.

So, in summary, we really liked our purchase and delivery experience from Scenic RV. They have a more family feel to their operation which is really nice compared to some of the huge corporate RV dealers. We would definitely shop with them again in the future.
