“I am so happy we found Erin. My son was very behind on his speech and was really acting out which was frustrating for everyone involved. When we couldn't get ahold of our local school speech program we stumbled upon Erin and I am so happy we did. He has made leaps and bounds in the short time he has been working with her. He is NOT an easy child. He's easily distracted, shuts down, gets angry, refuses to say words but she never falters. While I always feel ready to throw in the towel she is always agile, coming up with new teaching ways that would best serve him, is quick to come up with solutions appropriate for his age (and mood) and the effort has paid off. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the one on one sessions served him better and helped him learn faster than a group session in a school setting would have. I am so proud of how far he has come and we only have Erin to thank. Thanks to her we feel confident sending him to school knowing he won't fall behind due to lack of speech and communication. “First off your king size bed was amazing! Very comfortable bed with the best pillows and comfy blankets that smelled fresh and clean. Rooms and and hallways also nice and clean and didn’t have that musty odour that a lot of other hotels do. Service was great. Gave us a fair price for 2 rooms. Enjoyed your breakfast biscuit before I left which was pretty good to. Those are the things that are important to me and for that you get 5 stars. Although there are some minor things that you could improve on. Stock the towel rack in the swimming pool area. And the doors to our rooms both could use an update.”

“I cannot rate Sunrise of Issaquah highly enough. Our mother was scheduled to move in April 2020 which was delayed due to COVID. Initially, she was assessed for a lower-care floor, but when she was finally able to move in her mental state had declined significantly. Sunrise adapted and moved her to the Reminiscence Floor. I cannot praise Sunrise highly enough in this review for how they have helped my mom settle in and live her best life. She had difficulty settling in, but rather than treating her as a problem, Sunrise staff respected her dementia and helped us work through how to best help her. Dementia can be a hard road for any family - particularly when you live far away. But through it all the staff and administration at Sunrise made us feel like we were a part of a team caring for our mother. They were as happy as we were when mom's agitation settled. The care is professional and personal at the same time. From the Executive Director down to those setting the tables at meal times - everyone knows and cares for the residents. If you are lucky enough to get a loved one a place at Sunrise of Issaquah - take it. This is A+ quality care and a great team of people. Thank you!!!”
