“It was more than adequate parking here at the Pike Lake State Park hiking trail parking lot head. There's also an Ice Age Trail segment that goes Northeast out of this parking lot. There are also Ice Age Trail campsites just to the north of the parking area. There is a porta-potty maps and directional signage so you can enjoy your visit hiking the rolling Terrain. This is also the parking spot so that you can go View the 60-foot power from the top and see The Kettle Moraine area. You need hiking boots because the trails are rugged. Bring your binoculars if you go to the Tower and you'll be able to see many miles in all directions. There is also a new gravel trail design for bicycling all the way to the campground next to this parking lot. This Trail we'll take you all the way into the city of Hartford. Happy trails to you”
