What an incredible place for a loved one to pass. My dear friend spent her last days here with the best, most loving and compassionate care. The facility is beautiful and peaceful and the staff are amazing! Not only are the patients well cared for, but the family and friends are also supported. A big thank you to the staff for their hospiality, kindness and empathy.🙏❤️
The care that my mother-in-law, Mary Lou Barnum, received at Pacifica House was wonderful. She was there for about a week. The staff were incredibly caring and conscientious in their care of her. They were supportive of us as family members. Sophia the therapy dog was adorable and such a welcome visitor. Music therapy was incredible as well. They learned her favorite song in no time at all and played it for her! The nursing staff was exemplary. Thank you so much for all you did for my mom in law and for our family!
Everyone at PH was so kind and supportive. My mother was only there for 12 hours before she passed but I believe that is largely because they got her into such a comfortable state (after too many uncomfortable at our home).
Due to Covid, many of the building's features have to be off limits, like the main lobby and visitor's kitchen, but even so Mom's room was very pleasant. It felt like a cozy guestroom at Grandma's house, there was a smart speaker provided so that we could play Mom's favorite music, and comfortable seating for the 2 visitors at a time allowed in the room. My father was even able to stay by Mom's side overnight. When Mom passed at 2am, I was able to come see her one last time along with my daughter. We deeply appreciate that PH has taken proper measures to ensure that family can still stay by their loved ones, even during Covid times.
Do not hesitate to entrust PH with your loved ones. We are so glad that we did.
The staff at Pacifica House are there to ensure your loved one, along with the entire family, is taken care of. Comfort care is their specialty and they handle everything extremely well. The house itself is calming as soon as you walk through the door and the staff is there to help you along every step of the way. The care provided is amazing and these people (staff and volunteers) are all angels.
This was the best experience we have had during the care of my dear mother in law. The home itself, the doctors, the nurses, caregivers and volunteers all went above and beyond to give her the best care. It was the first time my husband and I were able to sleep because we knew she was in good hands. We were worried and stressed as she was first hospitalized then went to a care facility for a few days then finally to Pacifica house for a week before returning to her home to live her remaining days with hospice care and caregivers. My sweet mother in law asked if she could stay because she appreciated the care she was given so much. However once she was stable it she was able to come home. There is only so much room. However it was a good transition after the trauma of the ER hospital and care facility.
