“I saw Dr. Samtani in Baltimore when he was at John Hopkins' adult sleep center 3 years ago. I wanted to take the time to look him up and write the review he well deserves for finally steering me in the right direction in terms of diagnosis and treatment. I had been bounced around for ten years between alll kinds of specialists that just didnt know what to do with me nor took the time to try and instead would continue to send me off on a wild goose chase. Samtani was eager and willing to help me. He was genuinely concerned and curious, a well balacnced mix that led him to matching my symptoms to a very rare syndrome. He could not diagnose me as he had no experience with any patients that have my syndrome but he was able to push me in the right direction. I had to go several states away but I finally got a proper diagnosis and a good doctor that, thanks to Samtani, is taking me and my health seriously. I could not be more grateful. I HIGHLY recommend his services. I have been to far more doctors than I could possibly count in my short 23 years and none of them came close to giving me the time, attention, and care that this man did. Thanks to him, I am able to move on from searching for answers, and can now focus on managing my syndrome with the resources available to be as a result of diagnosis. Diagnosis isn't always everything, but when you go ten years without one, it is. He was still a resident at the time and was brave enough to bring his far out suspicion of diagnosis to the attention of his superior who had already told me to move on because she couldn't help me and didn't know what was wrong with me. He is one in a million when it comes to doctors.”

He gave me reasons for everything he was doing and even suggested the tests based on keeping the price of helath cste in mind. I am so happy with my new doctor. The staff was so helpful and warm and welcoming starting ar the reception area where i was checked in promptly and Dr. Samtami's nurse Karen was so nice.
