Village Bowl in Menomonee Falls has the best fish fry ( Blue Gills, Perch, etc) in Wisconsin.
The Bartenders working Friday nights are the BEST in customer service. 🙌
Came here from the Bugline for breakfast. At first the prices seemed high, but what seems to be a trend amongst bowling alley restaurants seems to apply here: Portions are large, so the value is very good.
At 9:00 on a Saturday, there was almost nobody here.
We rented Heritage Hall for our reception and it was amazing. It was recommended to us by someone else that had a reception there and she said they were great to work with, which was important to me. Village Bowl took care of so many things, including decorations. All the employees worked so hard during the night and regularly checked in with me. Truly made the night wonderful and everyone had a good time. Also, the room set up had area areas for dancing, eating, the head table, and the bar was awesome (with some great bartenders)! Not to mention, the bathrooms were right next to the hall and very convenient.
My wife and I had a wonderful time at Village Bowl today. It’s clean, up-to-date with the latest technology, and staffed by fun-loving people who are eager to make sure everyone has a good time.
We haven’t been bowling in ages, and were astounded by the modern technology that’s taking over the scorekeeping duties. This place lets you take a picture of yourself and then places your face on various animated characters, which celebrate along with you (or commiserate with you on your bowling shortcomings) as the game progresses. What a hoot!
The proprietors know how to use this technology, too. For instance, one time my wife had knocked down nine out of the ten pins, leaving one of them teetering back-and-forth for at least four or five seconds, which seemed like an eternity. Finally, that lone survivor toppled on its side, giving my wife her first strike of the afternoon. But the scoreboard didn’t notice that, which was quickly remedied by one of the trusty operators who pushed a few buttons and suddenly there was a strike in that frame for m’lady. Fantastic!
I can’t imagine a better place to luxuriate in the satisfying thrill of this Wisconsin-favorite sport. Go here!
