Sarah is so good at what she does. I was comfortable right off the bat with her. She listened to my concerns and I could tell she was going to help me get back on the road to recovery. Sarah knew how passionate I was about my fitness.
I would recommend her to any of my family members or friends. Thank you Sarah :)
I started seeing Dr. Emily half way through my 3rd pregnancy for some pretty intense pelvic/leg pain. She listened intently to determine how to best bring me relief and function with 2 toddlers at home. With the strengthening exercises, I was able to remain functional through the end of my pregnancy! In the third trimester, we discussed what my goals were for delivery. Emily shared a better birthing position, taught me HOW to push, and explained the “why” behind these things. Delivery went smoothly, and I was left with a stronger and more capable body postpartum. Most notably, I did not have the same noodly lower back as I did with my first two. I resumed appropriate exercises once cleared by my OB, and have continued to recover and strengthen my core. I realize now that I never really recovered between past pregnancies. I love the level of strength I’m now benefiting from daily. Thank you, Dr. Emily for equipping me to do pregnancy better!
I found Resilience Rx and Dr. Sarah Sawall several years ago when I was struggling with chronic shoulder pain that was affecting me both in the gym and my activities of daily living.
Dr. Sarah has helped me to understand and resolve a number of injuries, some from the gym and some due to years of poor posture and movement patterns. She really listens, performs a thorough exam, and gets to the root cause of your pain.
Dr. Sarah has never told me I should stop doing anything (i.e. CrossFit at 60 years old) and the treatments and recommendations I've received from her have allowed me to continue doing what I love. I'm a big fan and I highly recommend Resilience Rx and Dr. Sarah Sawall!
About a year ago I began having wrist and thumb issues. I saw a doctor and got two cortisone shots that alleviated the pain but only for a couple months. The pain was getting in the way of my fitness and made my work very difficult. I decided to see Dr. Emily before looking into getting surgery. I've been working with her since February, and I can confidently say it was a great decision! Although my symptoms aren't entirely gone yet, I can now get through my workday without pain and can do most things at the gym that I couldn't for so long, and I trust that Dr. Emily will get me back to 100% soon. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable and takes time to get to know you and find the best way to help you personally, then I can't recommend Dr. Emily enough!
I felt as if the people there listened to what happened and what I needed addressed going to Resilience RX Physical Therapy. I worked with Emily mostly and she was very professional, caring, attentive, knowledgeable and an absolute joy to be around. I felt better than when I left being taking care of there. They are diligent with checking up with me as I got a personal handwritten letter asking how I was doing during and after my time there. As well as help throughout the entire rehabilitation process including emails and text messages to make sure I was doing things correctly on my own to help my progress. To me it shows it's not just a job the truly care about making a positive impact and helping others. The tools and procedures used to help me worked wonderfully. I personally recommend people and would highly recommend anyone seeking any physical therapy to go to Resilience RX Physical Therapy.
