I’ve been attending for about a year, it’s a very caring and loving group. I truly feel the a wonderful spirit here.
We moved here last year and have been attending this church and love it! The people are very friendly and welcoming and it’s a wonderful place for families with small children to worship and learn more about Christ and His gospel.
My wife and I have just moved to this area recently. I’m glad to have a church family instantly available. I’ve felt very welcome attending this church since day one.
This church has become my family. It's a welcoming place to worship, learn, and grow closer to Jesus Christ together.
I was baptized in 2016. The members of this church have really done quite a lot to help me out with so many things. They have paid my rent when Section 8 didn't come through for me, helped move me to another location and paid my deposit. Even when my landlord didn't fix my plumbing, a nice couple paid out of their own pocket to repair it! The church has fed me when my car broke down and even arranged to get counseling for me! It's so much more than just going to church on Sunday! Yes, it's not a perfect place. Because it's made up of lots of different people who are not perfect themselves. BUT I have really received more good than bad in the long term. I think they really have my best interests at heart for the long run and want what's best for me. I live alone and they're really all I have going for me. I have a lot of medical problems. So if it wasn't for the church I would really be in deep trouble. I have made arrangements so that if I die, one of the church members can get access to the remainder of my bank account and help place my dog in a good home. I figure this will help smooth out her transition and cover some vet bills and buy her some toys and treats while she's learning to adjust to her new family without me! I'm not going to touch on the spiritual principals here. BUT if anything I have said is interesting to you, it's easy to get a missionary or someone in our church to contact you so you can learn more about us!
About two years ago I received two great pieces of furniture from my mother in law, a dry sink and hutch/buffet. I knew what I wanted them to look like, but just didnt know where to start. I tried watching a DIY online how to video, and failed at my first attempt. With my confidence really low, Tara walked me through the process on one of the pieces. I am not a "craftsy " person, but Tara was so patient with me and really built up my confidence that I could complete this project. I could not be happier with the finished product, it is exactly what I envisioned. Tara documented the process for me and gave me the tools and confidence to complete the 2nd piece of furniture on my own. I appreciate Tara's keen sense for furniture design and good eye for detail which allows her to take her projects from inception to completion.
