Journey Martial Arts has given my kiddo exactly what we were looking for to help build him up. The karate is a great physical activity, but Ms. Virginia and the rest of her team also do an amazing job helping the kids work on other life skills. Every couple weeks they'll focus on a new skill; confidence, control, empathy, balance, and more. It's more than just "another martial arts" dojo. They really care about helping these kids succeed in life.
My son had his first trial class this week and absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back! Virginia and all the staff was very attentive and worked to reach child’s needs! He was moving the entire class and fully engaged! I know he’s only had one class but I’m thrilled so far and can’t wait to see how things progress!
My daughter started karate in may and has just blossomed with confidence and pride. Instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable. They exemplify the motto of kind and brave in all they do. Best place to take your kiddo for karate. I also took adult fitness kick boxing and it was a great stress reliever. Great place for all your family to go!
We have been thrilled with Journey Martial Arts. Not only is our son getting foundational martial arts skills, but he is learning about being a good human. The small class sizes are great for learning. Parent participation is fun for my 5 year old. He gets a kick out of carrying his lessons like balance, memory, focus, outside of his class. We started with a trial membership, but we will be here for years to come!
Miss Virginia is fantastic with the kids. She takes the time to get know each of her students personally and works with each student to bring out the best in each of them. My son has thrived are Journey. Journey has strengthened his confidence not only in his self but in his martial arts. The studio is very welcoming and you feel like family right when you walk in the door. I would recommend anyone looking to start their marital arts journey to go to Journey.
