  I did my student teaching at STEM, and then immediately enrolled my children. They have been at STEM for years and we have had a wonderful experience with all of our children. This is a rigorous program that not only provides children with academic instruction, but also provides students with life skills, such as independence and critical thinking skills. The staff communicate frequently and support students as they learn to manage their time and their projects for themselves.

  Waukesha STEM Saratoga Campus is one of the best middle schools any hands-on learners could hope for.
  
  Those who apply themselves and actually do work succeed. The teachers regularly go above and beyond the call of duty to help those who are struggling, offering choices, programs, and more to aid those struggling, and advance those already at the level of proficiency.
  
  There are some in the review section who have had negative experiences, and while I cannot deny the existence of some faults in the system, there are enough opportunities to remediate their grades, or learn things they missed while they were sick, or on vacation.
  
  All of the teachers, as mentioned previously, help engage and expand my educational capacity. The transition is jarring at first, but after my first year I caught the hang of the flow.
  
  The school is not designed efficiently, however. I pity the poor sap with the locker on the other end of the school to where most of their classes are.
  
  However, the end of year activities are engaging, and fun.
  
  This school deserves 5 stars.
