“This is a nice, clean, and convenient, small town style grocery store. It's employees are very kind and helpful. I accidentally left a case of soda under my cart in the parking lot. I called them when I got home to explain what I did because I didn't want it to get wasted and freeze overnight. The lady asked me if I had my receipt and asked for my name and said I could come back at my earliest convenience and they'd make sure I got a case of soda. I was not expecting that nor was that my goal. I just didn't want it to go to waste. "How cool!" I thought. I went in the next day and got a new case of soda. Pretty awesome!”

“This is one of the areas best Walmart stores! It beats Brown Deer because it's much safer and shelves are actually stocked. It beats Menomonee Falls because it stocks more items, it isn't messy and the checkout lanes are in better condition. Better clearance variety here too. I expect there's better quality clearance because there's less retail theft overall (unlike Brown Deer). Produce seems fresher too. If I had to mention a drawback: something is off about the lighting. I can't tell what though. It's not as super bright as other locations. It feels like there's some dull aisles. Maybe it's a different type of lighting? Not really a big deal though.”

“Yola's is one of my go-to breakfast and brunch places in west Madison. No matter what you order, it's going to be delicious. The menu overall is thoughtfully designed, and I love seeing seasonal options pop up as the weather cools down! On top of the fact that the restaurant is hands-down high quality, the staff are so kind and the service is quick (even during a busy lunch hour on a Friday!). There is usually room to find a table either inside or outside without having to wait. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. If you're looking for a quaint spot to enjoy breakfast, brunch, or lunch (and a top-notch coffee), skip the Starbucks and pop into Yola's.”

“A must see location is you like or are curious about lavender. For about $5, you can roam around the farm take photos of the lavender field and acres of wild flowers. They also offer a Farm to Table Wagon tour for $12.75 which includes a great deal of information. This is also a cherry orchard so their claim to fame is lavender cherry pie which you can purchase by the slice or the whole pie. If it can be made with lavender, they have it for sell in the store. I had a cup of Earl Grey Lavender tea and my wife had peach ginger lavender tea both of which we enjoyed. The staff is pleasant and helpful! Certainly worth the trip!”

“Update - 7/27/22: We had the Corner Bakery Cafe cater a breakfast celebration we had at the office for new employees. The food was once again delicious! We had a great selection… avocado and egg wraps, sausage and egg wraps, and bacon and egg wraps. We also had fruit and muffins…. And coffee. Everyone loved it. The food was excellent! I would recommend the Corner Bakery any time! ——————————————————- Original Review: We had a breakfast catered by the Corner Bakery Cafe for a meeting at work. I had the breakfast bacon, egg and cheddar wrap… and potatoes. It was delicious. It was still hot when we got the order. (I wish it would have come with some fruit or something…. but maybe that was extra and we didn’t order it.)”

“I have known Roshan for quite some time and was so excited when she took the leap and opened Sugar and Spice! I've stopped in on many occasions to get treats here and there, but finally ordered myself a cake for my birthday this year in March. Ive never had a fancy cake from a bakery and decided to treat myself. IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT. It was so luxurious looking and tasting. Rich, creamy, moist, decadent.... “We came to Milwaukee on a quick trip and this place was close to our hotel, with solid reviews. The staff was welcoming, warm, and kind. I ordered their special, the Reuben, with a side summer salad and it was the most delicious food we had while on our stay in Milwaukee. It came with a dipping sauce on the side that made it even better! During our stay we had gone to State Fair and “nice” place in downtown (third ward) but would’ve preferred a soup and sandwich from this establishment over the other places we ate at… but always willing to try new places. Also, we tried some of their pastries which were delicious too! Great with my coffee next morning! Will definitely stop here next time we’re in town!”
