It was past the return policy date but I thought I'd call them anyway. They not only exchanged them but waived the difference as my new pair was more expensive. I also just bought a pair online and they sent me a thank you note for supporting their store. I find it so refreshing that they showed their gratitude. “Team leader Stephanie is amazing. I had a difficult situation with false advertising and Stephanie was more than extremely helpful. She resolved my issue quickly and efficiently and she is the ONLY reason I will shop there a second time. I initially felt scammed by shady advertising to enter the store in the first place; but team leader Stephanie resolved my complaint in a very satisfactory manner. I may not shop here again because of the corporate scandalous advertising, but if I do it will be because her stellar customer service skills were above and beyond her pay grade. Academy would do well to promote her as an example of people skills that make the customer experience worthwhile.”
