“I love these boxes to keep your bike safe while you head to SF or wherever. However, I usually need to use them during the day and my most recent experience was that they were all full and several were broken. This is very annoying because you have to check each box individually to see if one is available. This takes some time, as all the boxes are not on the same side of the street. After checking them all and not finding one, I was forced to lock my bike in the station which is a bit of a hassle and not nearly as secure. It also meant I missed my train. The point is, be prepared to not find an empty space as BikeLink does not seem to be doing a great job maintaining the boxes. When they work, they are convenient.”
