“I would like to thank two officers at this location and another officer who directed traffic on the interstate who helped me and my daughter during my time of distress. My car had suddenly broke down on the interstate and I was stranded without a clue of how i could fix my situation. I wasn't in the best place to be stranded on the highway, but these officers made sure to take us to a safer place while I resolved my issues. The officers were so kind. They wanted me and my one year old baby to feel calm and peaceful and they were such great gentlemen who served us with chivalry . I don't know any of their names but I hope they see this and know that we were truly blessed to have known them through our short time together. Thank you so much for helping me 🙌”

“I have had one experience that I can remember enough to describe. My mom, my baby brother, and I where returning home from a long day one night when my baby brother started to scream and cry my mom and I was trying to comfort him but he still continued to cry. My mom got distracted, trying to calm him and started to go faster than the speed limit. When she saw the lights she pulled over as soon as possible and the officer who gave us a ticket was very kind and understanding, he even gave my bother and I a sucker. These are the kind of cops we need in the pd, not the rude, and scamful ones we tend to see popping up in videos and reviews.”

The ride along was a great learning experience. Nothing serious happened for that ride along but it was worth going for it. I would do this again. “While walking three little dogs, one got too tried to walk so I had to pick him.up. During the process my little spaniel managed to get away form me and headed right for old caseyville road. I was in a panic because she isn’t street smart an would run right at a car if she got the chance! Lucky for me, along came a Swansea police car. They stopped saw me waving my arm and running after my dog. I’m 76 years old so this little 2 year old stinker had a major advantage over me!😵💫. The officer immediately got out of the car and got my puppy. This little dog means the world to me and I am so grateful to our fine Swansea police officers!”

“I have had 3 robberies in my new house since January of 2013. On each occasion it was homeless drug addicts. One was a home invasion where I had two young children, my wife and mother-in-law staying with us. The good news is in each case the criminal is now in jail and were repeat offender burglars. They ended up in jail because of outstanding police work, great evidence gathering. On the last occasion a neighbor was robbed. I was a witness to a suspect. The police had me drive by with them and identify the guy. They made it very clear it was just as important to not arrest an innocent person as to capture the crook. I could not make a 100% confirmation of the ID so this suspect was appropriately released. They are responsive, polite and caring. If you are a criminal you are not going to like them”
