“I hated this place, but had to live there for five months for my New Agent Training (lots of yelling, lots of bloody knuckles from doing pushups, lots of late nights studying). Most of the people are incredible. The training is incredible. And the day you walk out of there is even more incredible :-) I have long since given up the life of an agent, but fully respect everyone who walks through those doors and fights the good fight, be it FBI Agents or any law enforcement. Thank you everyone who continues to serve. This five stars goes out to you.”

“I was just dropping my son off to the Southwest Airlines terminal at 4 pm today June 16, 2022 when an incident occurred with a BSO officer. As I was dropping my son off an ambulance needed to come in and I was trying to get out of the way as you should to make room for the ambulance. One BSO lady officer was waving me forward while a BSO man was telling me to back up. I was already backing up to get out of the way of the ambulance and the very rude man BSO don't have a name or badge number was trying to give me different directions. I put my hands up to try and find out which they wanted ? Back up or go forward to get out of the way. The officer banged on my car so I stopped and opened my window at which point he said I was rude and he didn't have time for nasty comment. I told him I hadn't even spoken and he told me my hand gesture indicated I was being rude. He then told me " I hope one of your family members never need an ambulance" " asked me what do you do when an ambulance is coming?" I answered " get out of the way" and told him that's what I was doing. I told him he upset me and I didn't know how I was going to get home" he asked why? I told him he upset me and that I wasn't doing anything wrong. He asked me if I needed fire rescue ? I told him no. Then he asked who was I waiting for? I told him no one I just dropped my son off. He then said I hope you have a good day. He was condescending and rude. And perhaps some better training and people skills would help. addendum Thank you to LT Jon Commella that took the time to review my incident and listened to my concern. I greatly appreciate the response.”

“Male Hispanic with beard driving, this guy was driving on San Jacinto going way over 50mph (wreckless driving - because he put other people's lives at risk.) He ran 2 red lights, one was the street that turns towards the Hemet hospital. Get this driver off the road and protect us law abiding citizens. Thank you for all your hard work keeping us safe!!”

“I wish to publicly thank the Watchung police officer who helped me in my time of need. Being a dinosaur in this modern age of the so-called new technology and not being familiar with the gps on my cell phone, I was in plain words lost. This officer in the true since of, "to protect and serve," not only directed me to my destination, this officer programed my cell phone!! To me this was a fine example of someone going beyond the scope of duty. This fine officer was on duty at an intersection, construction site off rt 22 west at approximately 10:15 am on 05/26/2022. I truly regret not getting this officer's name or badge number, by not doing so I truly regret having to add this fine officer to the growing list of unrecognized police officers who take the extra step to serve and protect us. Again, many thanks and please stay safe in these sometimes-trying times. William Redmond”

“To: Officer Colin Police Vehicle: 963 Thank you! Today in America, we are quick to point out the bad a few cops may do but rarely report the good most of them do with the same haste. Today I wish to report the kindness of Office Colin, driving vehicle 963. Thank you offer for your service and thank you most of all for taking the time to help an egg-head cheapskate, who ran out of gas trying to get points on a fuel card. In my infinite wisdom to use a gas card for points, I ignored the ‘Fuel Warning’ in my SUV, passing two service stations just to get these points at another brand service station. Well, I shouldn’t have been surprised when my vehicle stopped, and I had to pull over. Officer Colin luckily was in the area, saw me and came to see what he could do to help me, and he did. It was 02/09/19, 6:30pm and 5°F outside with the inside of my SUV quickly beginning to feel like the outside. Officer Colin asked what was going on and if he could help, then made me aware that he had a gas can in his vehicle I could use if someone was coming to get me…and to my surprise there was just enough fuel remaining in his gas can, to get me to the service station only a mile away. As if he hadn’t done enough Officer Colin followed me to the service station just in case it wasn’t enough fuel to get me there. Thank you so much Sir. Your Captain and station have a really great officer in you and the Apple Valley community will benefit having you serve us. Moral of the story: This is not the time of the year to be stupid and cheap. Lol Being frugal may cost you more in the long run so apply common sense first. In this cold weather don’t take unnecessary risk. I was lucky Officer Colin happened to be there and amazingly had a gas can with enough fuel in it to reach a service station.”

“I was having a stroke as Hurricane Ida was coming on shore. My mom called 911 & this incredibly courageous lieutenant came to my house & drove me through the storm dodging falling trees, powerlines & driving through high water to get me to the hospital. If it wouldn't have been for him I would have died that night. I'm forever grateful for him & the whole department. Couldn't have asked for a better place to live in. Thank you for your courage, your dedication to our community. God Bless you all!”
