“Great metro. Sometimes a bit crowded. Has excellent parking.”

“I generally have a good time at the metros (all of them). This one just happens to be in the cheapest spot in the DC Metro area to live. Getting downtown from here is a breeze. Aside from the occasional accelerate hard / brake hard train driver, the rides are fairly smooth. Sometimes its good to see if you can keep your balance and not hold hand rails. Other then that the transportation is smooth and can get you from Maryland to Virginia and back without much trouble. It may take some time to get across town , but so will driving the beltway....”

“This is a small, simple station that doesn't have the drama you see at other CTA stations. The walk to Northwestern takes you through a really nice neighborhood.”
Address: Chicago, IL 60644, USA
“Great views of Chicago's skyline, especially from the bridge across platforms. However, the neighborhood isn't exactly the safest, so use caution if you aren't familiar with the area, although you should be fine on the train and inside the station, just keep your eyes up and your phone down. Transit times to downtown are pretty short, at 15-20 minutes. But don't let the neighborhood scare you away because the skyline views are amazing and the transit is convenient and reliable.”

“Your standard "L" Station and the closest to Wrigley Field. You'll likely make a few stops here.”
Address: 100 Addison Rd S, Walker Mill, MD 20743, USA
“This is the Metro Station I get off at when going to my sister house. The station is normally clean and sometime congested and there are many people who smoke tobacco at this station. The P12-Eastover, A12-Capitol Plaza; C21; C22; V14-Penn Mar; #23 The Bus to Courthouse; and some other buses service this station. This is the Blue and Silver Metro Lines. There is a parking garage, elevator and cab stand. You don't have to walk to the street to catch a cab or Uber. There is also a drop-off and pick-up area. It has fairly good lighting when standing at the bus bays waiting on the bus to arrive. Happy Riding!”

“Love this station! Parking lot is huge and the tunnel to the Hollywood neighborhood nearby is great. Only complaint is that the Kiss and Ride is super confusing to get to. Cars and pedestrian waiting area do not match up. Could've been better designed”

“Nice clean station, but no Metro bus service on the weekends and the bus only runs every 45 minutes. Needs Metro buses in that every”

“It's safe 2 ride the L or buses here.”
Address: 4700 Garden City Dr, New Carrollton, MD 20784, USA
“Decent metro. There always seems to be lots of people standing around...doing nothing outside. From a safety standpoint, there doesn't seem to be any issues, even though some of the clientele might not look too savory, lol. Lots of people waiting for buses out front. IRS police officers are normally present during rush hours on the overhead gangway, and normally there are police officers at the station or making their rounds around it. Decent meter parking for those who are conducting dropouts and a HUGE metro parking lot for those parking for hours at a time.”

“Very convenient for flyers travelling to downtown. The train departed on time, and the officer at the self purchase ticket kiosk was very helpful and printed a ticket out for me.”

“It's the best service with excellent staff to help you where you going. Only thing is they need more transit police to control the juveniles that act up every day doing the week. I'm talking noon, rush hour, night time.”

“Parking was good, very convenient access with a bridge leading to the station. Only thing about the stations in DC is that it isn't really clear what to do with the subway tickets and the machines. You think they're malfunctioning, but the service is great and they help you out with a big smile, and are always patient.”

“Very busy station, well secured and well maintained. The time I spent here wasnt long, but I can tell you one thing, New York could use some of the spotless and organized life of DC. Good enough for me to review it.”

“This is a heavily used station in the district. There are three entrances/exits for the station. The first is on the corner of 7th St and H St (under the At&t store) which is closest to Chinatown and usually has a group of homeless individuals nearby. The second is on the corner of 7th St and F St under the Capital One Arena, next to Vida Fitness. The third is on the corner 9th St and G St next to the National Portrait Gallery.”

“I have been using this Metro Station more since the U7 bus come to Parkside/Mayfair. I was at the station on Monday, October 29, 2018, waiting on the U7 to Minnesota Avenue Station. While sitting on the bus was for the driver to depart the station, Metro Transit Police Officer R. Harris boarded the bus number 7300 and asked me and another female passenger if we had any problems or concerns on the bus or at the station. He told us that the Mayor had ordered that Metro Transit Police be at the Deanwood Station from the time it open until the time it close. I was not aware of this, but I do know that everytime I go to the Deanwood station there are Metro Transit Police at the station. I feel very comfortable using this station because of their presence. I normally would not use this station in the past due to all of the crime and assaults that would happen there. The station is clean and they have added the articulated buses on the W-4 line which is a plus. Thank you Metro Transit and Mayor Bowser for this service.”
