“A quiet peaceful mid sized cemetery tucked away in Whippany New Jersey. Founded in 1866 with the burial of Richard Corbally this cemetery is still active today. The grounds are extremely well maintained and are open sunrise to sunset. The largest monument is for the Coghlan Family. You can’t miss it. On these grounds are the remains of many veterans. Those who died while serving and those who returned from war.”

“Finally stopped by this place after years of driving by and never stopping. I only gave it four stars because I could not find a sign that labeled the cemetery. However, it’s currently fall and I got the most beautiful environment to take in!”

“I highly recommend this place. Mr. Jesus Magallon is very caring, and a compassionate person . He is very knowledgeable, and he’s got the time and patience every time we talk to him. He’s never in a rush, a very kind hearted person. The interior of the place is very clean and formal, yet he makes us feel that we own the place. All of our families and friends were impressed when they entered the funeral homes. My mom looked so beautiful and peaceful. We gave him a picture of my mom to have it enlarge and we trully are amazed how her picture turn out. She looked liked she was in heaven. They really did a wonderful job! My families from Australia even want his service and help!”

“Many of my relatives are buried here, so I visit often. It is impeccably clean, especially the perpetual care tombs, and the office staff is always very helpful if you need to discuss anything. The blessing of the tombs on Nov 1 is a beautiful ceremony and I believe it's the nicest and most interesting cemetery in Thibodaux.”

“I had never been there before. A friend of my family passed, a Vietnam veteran, who was memorialized there today. The grounds were immaculate -- however the magnitude of weight that hit me when I first saw the soldier's stones in perfect formation.... there are no words.”

“A beautiful National Cemetery honoring our Veterans. This year we participated in the Wreaths Across America. The event went on rain or shine and everyone was able to honor our veterans for the holidays. It was a beautiful, rainy and cold day but so many wonderful people came together to "remember." I look forward to participating next year. Thank you! 🇺🇸”

“I do not have loved ones buried here, but wanted to explore this cemetery as it was established in 1862. It's appeared well maintained and I did not notice any litter or trash strewn about as other reviews state. There are very large old trees and many benches in honor of those deceased located throughout so that you can rest and reflect. The older part of the cemetery with headstones dating back to the mid 1800s is located to the left as you enter. That part of the cemetery is well worth walking through and exploring the old family plots and veterans who lay there. The other part of the cemetery, which is newer is also quite lovely. What we immediately noticed was how colorful and personal the cemetery was. Yes, many of the headstones are decorated in colorful artificial flowers, but I found it quite beautiful as I turned the corner and saw all this lovely color amongst all the headstones. This is part of the culture of the families that visit. It appeared to be primarily families of Eastern European descent. There were quite a few people visiting and cleaning gravesites of loved ones. It was nice to see quite a few people visiting. This is not a large cemetery as it was established well over 100 years ago. I enjoy exploring cemeteries and find them to be peaceful places.”

“Visited this cemetery to pay respect to one of the O'Jays founding members and Canton native William Powell (1942-1977). They had some very notable hits like "Love Train" and "For the Love of Money" as well as others. Quiet and tranquil area. His grave was a little tricky to locate but I did eventually find it. Thanks for the great music William!!!”
