“Fabulous teachers, administration and parent community! Everyone is approachable and down to earth. The play-based curriculum is exactly what this age group needs. My daughter always comes home singing the songs and telling stories about what they did all day. If she's got a fever and can't attend a day or two of school she cries and cries because she loves being there; it's pretty funny.”

“Hey! This is where my kids go to school and where I went when I was a young lad. Overall it is a great place to send your kids. They do have a "white slip" program where they want the parents to sign on any behavioral related problems. Good system in theory until you start receiving them because your kid "talked while standing in line". That's definitely not something that merits parent intervention. Pros: Wonderful teachers and beautiful campus Cons: White slip program. Back in my day, Mrs. North just looked slyly at me challenged me to do better. We knew... we knew.”

“I am a sixth grader in Berner. My first year at Berner is amazing because we changed from staying in one classroom to moving across the entire building. The sixth graders are on the 3rd floor which is amazing because the 1st floor is really crowded in between periods from all the students trying to get from math or English down to band or lunch.What I don’t like is how long much traffic there is to get on line for parents to drop their kid off at school in the morning. I think there should be a stop sign.”
