“Haven't flown in several years. Didn't know what to expect following the recent events. I was pleasantly surprised to find everyone was so courteous and friendly. The airport is amazingly clean and comfortable. Got through check-in and TSA quickly. The staff scanner flagged my cargo shorts, so I got a lovely pat down, but even that was incredibly professional.”

“Great airport. It is among the busiest airport in the world, but it is well designed so it doesn’t look too crowded. The staff at the airport, from the CBP immigration staff to the baggage handlers to the disability assistance staffs, are very friendly, professional, and courteous. They have one of the best airport staffs in the United States. The airport has a lot of restaurant options, located not centrally and distributed well to its many gates, so no matter which gates you are taking off from, you are just a short walk to a restaurant or any kind of food. They have many drinking fountain to fill your bottles. The toilet is quite clean. Excellent airport, a great gateway to the United States of America.”

“Moton Field Municipal Airport is a great place to take a break! It is usually a place of business where people learn to fly planes and skydive; however, it is surprisingly relaxing to see the open sky and the hear the sounds of the occasional plane fly over head. “Stopped in for fuel in our J-3 Cub & had to stay due to afternoon thunderstorms. Manager Mike Smith was extremely helpful and accommodating. Best fuel prices around, helped us shelter the cub in a hangar for the night & took care of our transportation needs. If your near here stop by, highly recommend!”

“If your a fan of aviation then this is the place to be. You ever heard of a man by the Name of Charles Limbourg. He flew a plan called The Spirit of St Louis across the Atlantic Ocean before anyone else ever did in the early 1900s. There is a plane inside one of these hangers that was flown by Charles Limbourg well before his famous Atlantic flight. The plane is from the 1920s and it was flown by Charles Limbourg and how cool is that. There is also the original model of the Spirit of St Louis plane in the same hanger. You can walk up to these relics and touch them. I thought that was so cool, most museums don't let you even get within arms reach, this place is up close and personal with aviation history. The cost to tour is $10 and it's only open on Saturdays and Sundays 10AM to 4PM. I would suggest not bringing little kids because the planes are side by side and kids don't listen very well and will most likely hit their heads on a wing or propeller. Bring your somewhat mature children, they don't want accidents. Other than that enjoy it while it's still around, this is truly a hidden gem.”

I made it through security for a night flight within 6 minutes! 🤯 The signs inside and outside the airport make it easy to get around. Ground transportation has very little traffic which makes getting dropped off or picked up smooth as well!!”

“Planes planes & planes. The Pinal County Airpark, located in Marana, Arizona, northwest of Tucson, is a county-owned airport just north of the Pinal/Pima county line along Interstate 10. It was originally known Marana Army Air Field. On the grounds of the airport are a variety of tenants, both private sector and government. One primary function is serving as a "boneyard" for civilian commercialaircraft as well as airliner storage, reconfiguration, and reclamation. Out-of-service airliners are stored there since the dry, low humidity of the Sonoran desert provides an ideal storage environment. Unfortunately I’ve visited this airfield Dec 2021 when no tour was available anymore due to COVID But the friendly staff let you drive around and take as many pictures you want. Remember to be respectful always and not litter”

I came down from MA to get paramotor training at Florida Flight Sports with PPG Gorilla. GREAT people!! I miss the guys already. Wish I could've stayed a month! Rick, his dad, and the equally great assistants got me flying in 4 days flat! If I can do it, ANYONE can! Give him a call and get flying! It will change your life!!”

Unfortunately this is a General Aviation facility which means their customers are private planes. 1 thing that I believe is really cool are the signatures on the walls in the reception are from celebratiies that are passing thru.”
