The bike I rented (Slash 9.7) was a pretty creaky bike (BB or crank bolts?), but otherwise rode very well and was set up very good for my weight. It was a great “show up and ride experience.” I would have liked to know at the time of booking that my rental slot (1000-1800) was actually six hours instead of eight since the shop closed at 4:00. I found out when I received my reminder email the day before. I would have adjusted my times better if I knew in advance. Overall, I would (and already have) provided recommendations for this shop based on the friendly staff, available bicycles, and location. Well done.”

“Great bike hire shop, right on the 10.5 mile marker of the river mountain loop. They loaned me a bike in as new condition, were helpful showing me the route supplying a map and showing places to stop etc. Even gave me two bottles of water for the bike and a free soda when I dropped it back. The river mountain loop is a fantastic traffic route, with amazing views of the mountains, Vegas and lake mead. I took the recommended clockwise route to avoid the steep climb in the first few miles for the more gradual climb”

“I've been in a few times now and each time I was greeted as I entered the store and helped very promptly. My last trip was more urgent as someone had recently stole my vehicle with a bag full of my running gear including a brand new chest strap heart rate monitor and the charging cable for my Garmin 935. Not only were they the only local place to have the chest strap, but the price was not overly inflated and I paid the same as I would have on Amazon, and we able to support a local store. The charging cable was an even better situation. They opened a box and sold me the cord and ordered a new one for the watch they still had for sale. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was.”

“I have a giant talon 1 i rode the wheels off for a year and a half. I had some difficult chooses to make and had a plan. I stopped by the shop one day and meet mirza and ran by him my dreams for the bike i love. After meeting with him and showing him my bike a plan was hatched. Today i picked up my bike and it rocks!!! The helpful and carrying staff made my dream come true and i thank them all and winston!!! I highly without a doubt will always in the future shop nc velo and will see them in the spring for another dream. My full suspenion giant trance. I have completed the final phase of my upgrade to my giant talon 1. Mirza has installed a new fork and stem for me and I finally have it dialed in. I am so glad I purchased the shimano XT all around. I had the funniest ride today so much so I forgot I had to work and kept riding. My and my bike are one again thanks to NC Velo. We are blessed to have such an awesome group in the area I can't thank them enough. I'm not a review kind of guy but they really really deserve our support to keep this shop riding into the future. Oh, almost forgot HI Winston. Well I have an update. The upgrade to my giant talon1 is ripping the trails like the first time I rode it after mirza worked it for me. My dream for the full suspension bike was not in the cards this year. I ride the trials around twenty times or more a month. The weather this fall with the hurricanes have placed a damper on what I love to do. So I had another plan. I stopped by the shop for two bottle cages for my hard tail. I hooked up with mirza to see about a 2018 rode bike. He helped me find a beautiful 2019 giant tcx slr cyclocross bike. The dream continues because they allowed me to drop a.deposit on the bike, the bike stands, and some great lights for the bike. With this addition in my.bedroom I can ride.everyday now in the future. I can't say enough about this group we are blessed they desided to open a bike shop. I'm cutting this one short I can go ride my new bike tonight. Oh, it was great to see Winston again.”

“We did a half-day mountain biking trip in Red Rock Canyon. We were picked up on the Strip on time and were riding high-quality mountain bikes within half an hour. Our guide Irving was excellent and chose trails of appropriate challenge and distance for our skill level. He also taught us about some of the plants in the area. We had a great time. Considering you get transport to the trails, a good bike, and a guide, I found the price to be fair.”
