“My mom and dad had prepaid cremation plans down in North Carolina. My dad died in the 90s and mom moved back up here and transferred her plan to Meyers Funeral Home in 2002. My mom died at 98 two weeks ago and ALL I had to do was make ONE phone call to Stephen Meyers and he took care of EVERYTHING. He picked up her body at the hospital about 3 hours (!) after I called him and she was sent to cremation immediately. He called when her ashes and death certs. were available and I was able to pick them up at my convenience. I will be pre-paying my own cremation with him once the dust settles with my mom, and hopefully my husband will want to do the same. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.”

They was there for me both times when my daughter was murdered and when my partner in life for 40 years died from covid March 11 and still making sure I have what I need. He was not pushy with services offered, didn’t impose any sense of urgency for decision making, and fielded all of our questions patiently. Melissa, was very steadfast and polite with emails. The rest of the staff were just an ear shot away if needed anything and made sure the immediate had plenty of time to grieve. “We had a preneed policy with Hayworth Miller that we had done almost 15 years ago. I have never been so glad we took care of that then. It kept up with the inflation prices which always as in everything goes up. It made things so Very easy for myself and the children , No picking out things and making decisions. They were already done !! Just had to figure out day and time for service. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. They are very helpful with everything.
