“This is such a cute and clean little library. The staff was extremely friendly. They let us know about upcoming events. They had all sorts of activity stations for not only children, but middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults too! The kids loved the fiesta craft table and computer games. The whole set up here is just very nice. We checked out some books and can’t wait to return!”

“A very nice public library where I come regularly for remote work and study. Usually not busy and you could find a quiet corner. The stuff is really nice. They took a special trip to buy coffee for me since my favorite French Vanilla was out of stock. Happy July Fourth!”

“Really great library. Easy parking, book donation bin, book return bin, multiple outside pick up spots. One way traffic. Awesome to be able to go back inside. Entryway beautifully displayed with the local school's k-12 art. Always beautiful images to look at here. Local children's projects inside. Spaces for privacy, meetings, and tutoring. Has a nice newsletter. At the information desk, there is an excellent selection of free seeds for planting, a very smooth process on how to get them, and a helpful binder on best planting conditions. There's also so many free rentals of electronics, instruments, technical tools and equipment, and museum/park passes. Lastly if they don't have what you want, they usually go out of their way to find it in the system. Employees are still masked. Bathrooms are open and clean. Always a joy.”

“So grateful to have a library in Dolan Springs! While it is only open 3 days a week currently and for only half the day, if we want to keep the library going or expand the hours, stop by for a visit so the county will see that this little library is a needed service in our community. The library has free wifi, a community bulletin board, a selection of books and DVDs (plus access to other books in the county by request), and some study and/or activity tables. Terrie, the current librarian staff member, is friendly and can help you get set up with a new library card, which also allows you to access ebooks, audiobooks, and more online. I'm keeping warm in the space today, joining an online meeting and completing some projects. During the summer the library is also a great place to visit to cool down from the heat. I love libraries! Let's grow this one into the great community space we know it can become for Dolan Springs residents and visitors.”

“Such a cute, quaint, friendly library branch. Make no mistake, this library is tiny and offers extremely limited hours. However, it is charmingly housed in the Spanish Point building which retains every bit of its old charm. The librarians are friendly. The library is well laid out and bright and everything is labeled and easy to find. I had never been in this branch before and I was pleasantly surprised! The beautiful setting beyond the parking lot is bonus.”

“A few years before My mother here retired as the director of the library me , my aunt and her daughter visiting after she gave us free tickets to motor speedway in Leeds Alabama next to Bass Pro shops. They have so many motorcycles on 9 floors. It was very helpful that the man advised us to take elevator to the top floor and walk backwards downhill. Absolutely amazing place if you like the automobile industry and historical items. She was always the avid reader while I played my clarinet for 11 years growing up and I only prefer textbooks and autobiographies. Perfect combination. Eyes ears mouth hands like the 4H pledge I please my head to thinking, my heart to greater loyalty my hands to larger service and my health to better living for my club my community my country and my world then I was on stage to raise the flags every morning at summer camp group gathering.”
