“Hosts one of the best online map collections in the West! The map center is located at Sanford University in the main library. The center is a bit hard to find but a fun search also. You travel up two flights of stairs. The stairwell is beautifully painted with murals of maps. The center itself is mostly an auditorium. There is a wall-sized multi-touch display of Google Earth that features many of the collected maps which are georeferenced and overlaid on the interactive map. This is one of the most exciting features to work with in the room. There are some physical maps and historical artifacts to view. However, the full map collection is accessible online and from my knowledge, not available for viewing at the center. For the best experience, visit when there is a scheduled talk or seminar.”

“Our library has great librarians. On this rainy day, it was very quiet; but that is an unusual occurrence since they provide programs for every age. The summer reading program is in full swing right now. Our sons always enjoyed it. Besides hard copy books, they also have an online service for e-books and audio books, and maybe more I haven't explored yet. I think I saw magazines as an option too.”

Their attention to their clients and details of your plan, protection in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, is always their highest priority. I have referred them to many friends as they also cover my family and I am referring them to you, a stranger. I would never trust anyone else but them with my car insurance as I feel it is very personal when something gd forbid happens. “...I have had such wonderful experiences at this library! First of all, it’s a gorgeous building! Very spacious, well ventilated and clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They are also very patient. One time I was there, a staff member showed me how to use the computers, and before she did asked if I had the time so she could show me. I thought that was very thoughtful, especially considering I was asking her questions. Everyone inside practices social distancing and they have upfront parking spaces for those who need to use it. Just a beautiful library. Thank you!”

“Columbus State's library is a fantastic place on Campus! They have textbooks students can check out within the library for 2 hours, which is way cheaper than buying the textbook. I usually will study with a textbook on the third floor which is completely quiet. They also have study rooms which is great for study groups or group projects! The Writing lab within it is also amazing to help get feedback on paper assignments. They also have a quick print station as your walk in on the first floor to print of paper assignments or quick on the go things for class. They have lots of computers on the second floor for students to help and even have awesome librarians who help assist in many ways but the most help to me has been with research papers and helping me find resources! I can always depend on the library for great help!”

“What a nice small town library with a good deal of variety. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. There is a nice park with for the kids next to it also. Keep in mind for now with covid-19 you can stay only 15 minutes so check with them to see if they increase the amount of time you can spend there.”
