“I really like this spot! Just a few miles in when taking the road to the keys. The private beach is great for the kids. As long as you are consuming in the restaurant you can be there. They close at 4 the service on weekdays and 6.30 on weekends. But you can stay at the beach. Prices are affordable and the food is very tasty. Also very good service!”

“Live there, nice neighbors, very clean, have a party room you can rent, playground for kids. Only thing that bugs me is the train tracks 1/2 mile away and sometimes kids get a little loud out at the playground waking my kids during the day and at night. My fault for not reporting it so its not the parks fault and kids will be kids and don't want to get them or their parents in trouble with the park. Normally just have to sit out on the porch and they quiet down.”

I have fished with lots of guides across the Gulf of Mexico and Runaway Charters is by far the very best for knowledge of the local fishery for both finding and catching fish. His knowledge and equipment is superior to any other guide services I have used. I am looking forward to my next trip with Captain Cade at the end of February. “I've been wanting to visit this place for years but one thing or another always got in the way. Last Sunday (July 10th, 2022) I finally made it out there and what an amazing experience!! From start to finish I was either smiling or laughing making my entire day just wonderful. We arrived a bit late but that's what happens when you've got a 3 month old with you. He and his daddy weren't going riding with us but daddy wanted to be there. The ladies at Storm Creek weren't upset at all over our late arrival. We arrived, signed papers, discussed which horses we would ride (they were all ready to go) and off we went! I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a shorter ride but we were all having so much fun that we just kept going. We rode for almost 2 hours. I was rather rusty and when I was doing something incorrectly my guide would correct me in a way that didn't make me feel as if I was being corrected. It felt more like a suggestion, I never once felt looked down on. It was amazing. When we arrived back at the rescue I started to untack my horse. I started to have trouble with the cinch (I had carpal Tunnel surgery last year, my hand strength is still a mess) so I went to one of the ladies to ask for help. She smiled at me and said "That's my job, not yours!" and took over for me! So I decided to go talk to Mrs. Storm Creek, we had completely clicked earlier. It was like we had known each other for years right off the bat! So we talked more horse talk and I literally had to drag myself away or I would have had everyone else wait on me for the rest of the day. This experience was so wonderful that I'll be going out there at least every six weeks if not sooner despite the hour and a half drive! These folks make you feel like you belong there, you've always belonged there and it's wonderful to see you back home.”

“We were staying at Pursell farms for a wedding on site, which was absolutely beautiful. One of the things I wanted to do while being there was go to the petting zoo. Immediately upon our arrival, we were greeted by Savannah Logan who was both outgoing and friendly. She talked about the animals, and let us feed the them. It was very clear that she was both knowledgeable and loving towards the animals in her care. Our experience with the petting zoo and Savannah was very pleasurable! Thanks Savannah!”

“We checked into the hotel after 9pm and the hotel was almost full. The first room we went to had a very musty smell. We called the front desk to see if we could get another room. The manager, Jason, came to the room immediately. He brought an Ionizer to the room and offered us another room. The next room was much better. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The hotel is outdated but with managers like Jason we would definitely come back.”
