“What a great experience to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!!!! They have truly thought of everything you could want for glamping & then some. Welcome snacks, coffee, tea, heaters (it was actually chilly when we visited), heated towel rack!!! Especially liked that a few days before our visit a member of the team reached out to let us know they would help us with whatever we needed before & during our visit. Happy to report that we had absolutely no complaints or issues. Just some beautiful views for coffee time & sunset. Highly recommend!!!”

“A tucked away place on Put-In-Bay by the airport and Miller's Ferry end. It is quiet, clean and has an outdoor pool. The check-in office has coffee and a little general store only open during business hours and also offers carts for rent. The cart prices are higher than other places but are available when renting a room. A two night minimum was required when we rented. There are a few room options and we did the king. The restroom had plenty of drawers and storage with a shower/tub combo. This was a nice, quiet experience for how crazy the island can get on the weekends. Will be a returning customer in the summers to come. “I was very excited to book an overnight retreat for me and my husband and the anticipation was not met with any disappointment. The location along the shores of Lake Erie, with stunning views from our room, the pools, and the on-site dining were exceptional. The lobby was very welcoming and grand and we were met with friendly staff who answered all of our questions both in person and via text, which was very convenient. We appreciated the wonderful on-site amenities including a large and beautiful outdoor pool and cozy hot tub, beautifully laid out bocce, oversized chess board, corn hole, and our personal favorite - deck shuffleboard. The heated indoor pool and hot tub were also second to none, allowing comfort and amazing views, especially at sunset. Staying in a resort where the pools are actually made for swimming was a treat and we appreciated the very generous hours that allowed us to take advantage of all the on-site outdoor activities, including a fantastic dinner at the on-site lounge. Our room while just slightly worn in some ways, was very stylish, spacious, clean, and comfortable. We're so glad that we booked a room with a balcony, as we enjoyed reading and watching the water from the comfort of the outdoor seating. We loved the complimentary bike rentals that allowed us to quickly explore the next door park and enjoy a beautiful morning pedal through town.These types of services make you feel like your stay is extra special. The s'mores package that we received at checkin to use at night around the many patio gas fire pits also made our stay extra special. Even though we live within an hours distance of The Lodge, we feel our stay was well worth the money spent, as we felt like we were on a fantastic vacation without having to travel far. We highly recommend the experience as a quick get away for locals or for those traveling a far distance. We cannot wait to return!”

“This was a pretty good hotel! I walked in, and the hotel was cool, which is amazing since it was 98 degrees outside... anyways, the room was nice with two queen sized beds with an operating TV with a mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom is clean since I haven't seen any stains on the towels or any mold in the shower. So my final review is 4 stars only because of some minor flaws in my room.”

“Tons of traffic through the campground from the facility down the canyon. Many of the regular employees at the facility are inconsiderate of campers and drive quite quickly through the camp. The campground was covered in trash when we arrived, but was much cleaner from 3 weeks ago when I was here. The bathrooms need to be pumped but someone has come and cleaned them as well. LOTS of wildlife!”

“Very nice, new, clean rooms. Everything feels very safe, and there’s a cute courtyard in the middle. What a lovely place - and the breakfast is amazing for such a small hotel (we just expected coffee and a muffin). People that are complaining about breakfast in the reviews maybe missed half of the buffet - there’s different yoghurts, different oatmeals, a lot of fruit, high quality and very diverse selection of pastries, freshly brewed coffee, toast, bread. Nice people at the reception. Parking is suite easy in the surrounding streets. We’re really happy we chose this hotel for a very reasonable price. The rooms and bed are on the small side, but very manageable. They do have black-out blinds (I saw somewhere in the reviews they did not), you have to look for the right button on the touchpad.”

“We stayed 7 nights in November. We are impressed and would definitely stay here again. Common areas are clean and well kept. Rooms are well laid out with pocket and swing doors to separate bath, kitchenette & living, and bedroom. Kitchenette has coffee & maker (regular & decaf), 1 set plastic utensils with napkin, fridge, hot & cold cups, ice bucket, sink, microwave, cupboard. 2 sinks, separated by a wall, were a great convenience. White tea & honey lotion is nice, and the 2 bar soaps. Didn't try the shampoo and conditioner, pr the Wi-Fi. Courtyard is nice with a pool and whirlpool hot tub. The included breakfast has the largest selection of hot and cold food and beverage anywhere we've ever stayed in any country. Outdoor & indoor seating. Good location. Within walking distance are fast and sit down restaurants & Dollar tree to stock the kitchenette.Live music and dancing venues are a 5-15 min drive. The flaws were minor: a couple stains from former occupants, and the vents in our room's HVAC cover could stand to be dusted, and a not so cooperative TV remote. These things were easily overlooked due to overwhelming amount of positives.”

“Excellent place to stay! Small town feel and very relaxing. The owner Mr Rodriguez is more than accommodating. I was able to park my boat 10 feet from the front door of my room. There is a seafood restaurant( Shrimp Shack) right behind the motel that is good, but not better than Bubbas which is down the street. Corner store and grocery store are also in walking distance. Boat launch/harbor is 2 minutes away. This little hidden Paradise called Seadrift will be my new fishing waters for years to come!”

“We have been here for over 27 months and really have enjoyed it. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of room to walk our dog. We enjoy sitting outside by the fire pit playing cards. We have had long term and even just overnights come and everyone is like family. We hate to be leaving here. Been a wonderful place and working to get it looking beautiful. It sits off the Double AA behind a Salvage yard so some people can't see us from the road really. You have full hookups, WiFi, picnic tables, horseshoes, we even put a sandbox for the kiddos. There is storage units and even RV storage. Stop in and give us a try.. Manager and her son are helpful and all around awesome people. 😀”

“Lived here two years. Management changed many times. Place is alot better now, than when we first moved in. Place is now called Apex Apartments. Looks better on the outside now. For the entire two years the pool was unavailable. Did not get a chance to swim at all during the entire two years.... The place is alot safer now, than it was when we first moved in. A few attempted home invasions was prevented due to being armed. Now the crazies are gone. As for my apartment I did NOT see a single bug for the entire two years. No rodents was ever seen. To be honest the place is way over priced for what it is. The laundry room has many washers and dryers that don't work. Most have not worked for at least a year. There is only a basketball court. Nothing else. As for the ac.. it worked good for the entire two years. Apartment was always cold.”

“If you’re looking for an old-fashioned fishing cabin, this is the place for you. It’s simple, clean, and friendly, with a retro vibe. Well maintained. Ms Pally, the owner, has been hosting renters for 47 years. We brought our kayaks and the boys toured Big Trade Lake. It’s a beautiful lake. Not too busy. We saw Sandhills, Eagles, and woodpeckers. We fished from the row boat (there’s one included in each rental) and from the dock. Lots of nice sized sunfish and bass, so far. There’s a ‘Braggin’ Board’ in the community room/store. Lots of big fish caught by others. The beds are full size.”
