“The hotel itself is nice, clean, and quiet. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is great, and was perfect for walking to/from our conference. The WiFi connection however was absolutely nonexistent. I could not get connected to be able to do any work. If you need to be able to get work done from your room, look elsewhere.”

“The good: -Great big kitchen with two ovens, three refrigerators, two dishwashers, and everything you need to cook. -rooms have private toilets/showers (huge plus. Never seen it in a hostel before) -good location close to metro, some cafes, and grocery. -a bit cluttered at the entrance, but overall very clean and comfortable. -a shared laundry room. -tv with netflix, hulu, apple tv The bad: -not much really. Could feel some tension among staff, but that's pretty normal when you work with others. It's an okay place for an okay price. I'd consider coming back.”

“Meeting Space & Rooms - Great location & People / "HIGH CONVENIENCE" Booked a corporate business meeting here in mid-July for (x18) people with plan of taking the team to DC United Soccer game after meetings. We had our meetings from 1-5pm in rooftop meeting room. Transitioned to heavy apps & cocktail Happy Hour from 5-7:30pm in adjacent rooftop bar & restaurant. At 8pm, we proceeded to walk across the street to Audi Field for sporting event. Rooms were very clean and quite. When managing large groups of people convenience is KEY and this is a great location. Additionally, the meetings/special events coordinator Christiam (along with the rest of the staff) were extremely service-oriented, accommodating, and pleasant to work with. Recommend considering this as an option for any upcoming meetings, parties, or rooms needs you may have. Customer Service: 5/5 Rooms: 5/5 Convenience: 5/5 Rooftop Meeting & Lounge: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Parking: 3/5* * Not a deal breaker but plan accordingly. There are times where the valet team gets very busy.”

“The perfect hostel. Staff was very nice, rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well equiped and clean. We played cool games organized by the staff on saturday night which made it easier to meet new people. That said, it's quite far from the national mall but there are plenty of buses close to the hostel so it is actually fine. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants near it, since it's in Adams Morgan neighborhood. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely recommend it.”

“This hotel is very convenient in location, 20 minute drive away from the capital of Washington! However, I do not recommend walking around the area if you are not familiar with it. Staff was helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast consisted of fresh cut fruit, oatmeal, bread-based, etc always tasted great. Rooms were clean and the house keeping always provided us with fresh towels. My only complaint was about one staff member, very nice guy, but he got too comfortable and approached my partner and I about “going to his house” and “checking out local strip clubs”. Very unprofessional conversation.”

“Clean rooms that are renovated. Property is well cared for as well. Most staff are friendly. Maids do a decent job as well. Front desk staff younger girl was nice but the guy was not as friendly. When you walk in after a long drive guests really want a warm welcome and an inviting smile. The male working the front desk at 330pm on September 2, 2022 was not that. He was pure business with a cold edge. We shook that off and had a good time in NH despite the less than desirable welcome. Bob the maintenance man was top notch. He even offered to help carry our belongings! Great conversation as well with him. We really enjoyed his company he is an asset to RRI. The mattress was super comfortable but the pillows were not. They need new pillows. The grounds were well maintained and everyone picked up after their dogs. RRI provides feces bags for your dogs too and made it easy for guests. We will definitely be returning despite the front desk experience.”

“1. Good location but adjacent to road so you need to be cautious while entering as it is busy road . 2. Friendly staff in professional attire and happy to help for questions 3. Clean and sanitized rooms which is very appealing 4. Decent breakfast 5. Shuttle from hotel to 42nd Street was big breather. This is good option if you want to beat newyork traffic and parking. Shuttle charges 3.5$/ person.”

“American Guest House is the absolute best Bed and Breakfast in DC! I stayed in very nice room for 2 nights while I dropped my kid off at Georgetown. The morning breakfast and coffee couldn’t have been better served in the building’s historic dining room. The owner of the B&B made the stay extra special with her personal attention to detail. 5 BIG stars and I look forward to staying there again on my next trip to DC!”

“Georgetown Hill Inn is one of the nicest hotels in Arlington. The hotel staff were friendly and competent. The room provided was spacious with nice amenities. The buffet breakfast in the downstairs restaurant had a large variety of food choices, and the food was delicious! It is a pleasure to spend time there!”

“This is a pretty nice rooming house. The manager was very nice. Rooms are pretty and homey, with a bunch of books on the shelf. Fresh fruit and cookies were a nice touch. Issues: (1) in my room #301, the toilet was very small - perfect for an 8-10 year old, but not for someone over 6' tall. (2) There were no electrical outlets a reasonable distance from the desk or other horizontal surface, so I had to move the bed in order to plug in anything - an extension cord would have been helpful. The biggest issue: why was Fox news on the downstairs TV all the time?? Please leave the TV off, unless there are people actively watching!”

“Part Hotel/Part Hostel- 100% AWESOME! Dog Friendly with an amazing Staff. Tina was the Hostess of the "party" as she was very welcoming and so helpful during my stay. Lobby area is gorgeous. I stayed in a bunk room and it was great. Very clean and great views. It was raining during my stay... safety 1st! Wet floor signs needed; although, staff was diligent at keeping lobby dry.”

“Only been up once but very enjoyable. Strict security, and informative staff. Great views as you would expect. Just enough history and background to read so it's not overwhelming. I get the impression the inside of it was designed so you don't spend too much time up there.”

“I stayed at this hotel while I was in DC for a meeting at the federal communications commission. The hotel is new and the inside of the hotel is very nice. My room was nice and very quiet. Hotel sits down by the wharf so it’s a very nice place to be like to go check out the sights. Very close to all of the tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.”

“The location, rooms, and staff were all top notch! From the moment I walked through the front door, the staff was amazing; friendly, professional, and welcoming. The check in process was very smooth, and there is self parking less than 100 yards away. The room, a river view, was spectacular! It had all the trimmings you’d expect, but the view stole the show! We could stand on the balcony and see the cherry blossoms in the tidal basin, the river, and the gold course. Truly fantastic! The location is great, with lots of nice dining options, and an easy walk to the National Mall.”
