“Spent 33 years here. Great place to live in be sure you get the north or higher side of the park have had a part flooding of the lower area every ten years or so. If told to go by PD/FD.AND YOU ARE BY GOLF COURSE. LEAVE AT ONCE. In thirty mins you will need assit as creek overflow will rise fast. Upper part of the park may be the best in San Jose.”

“We have stayed at several RV parks this year and this one has by far been our favorite. The park was easy to get to (follow the directions they provide) and very nice! Greater shaded spots, friendly people, and helpful management. The park even had great amenities- rec room, laundry room, a little store, and firewood and ice for sale. The spots themselves offered plenty of shade, parking for your vehicles and even had a fire pit and table and chairs. We are hoping to stay here again later this summer. You will not regret staying at this park!”

“Kelly and Tony have created an extraordinary sanctuary at the Blue Heron Guest House. Our spacious room was romantic and elegant with a private deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and enjoyed a boat tour of the beautiful lake. Breakfast was wonderful and our hosts did everything possible to make us feel welcome. Don't miss this opportunity!”

“As a former member of the Military I have my fair share of experience of hotel stays. The Cabrera Hotel deserves every possible star possible, due mainly by the level of care expressed and felt by the owner and staff. Additionally, the level of comfort, in a more traditional sense, meets all standards of quality one would expect from any hotel stay. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you are in the market and area stay here; you will not be disappointed.”

“Incredibly kind owner, and breakfast to order. While traveling through Kansas on business, I booked a room at this vintage hotel because the listing said breakfast included. What it didn't say was that it's breakfast made to order at the historic 1930's style diner next door. The owner himself comes your breakfast, whatever you want. And the coffee is free and delicious, served up with a generous dose of kindness by this hotel owner. While the rings are dated, they have all of the amenities a traveler really needs including microwave, frigate, hairdryer, iron, ECT. The rooms are clean, and the beds are concussions. I would stay again..”

“I really enjoyed our time there will definitely stay again when we come back to this area. It's very quiet and right off of the Highway but far enough from the highway that you don't hear the traffic. The Owner is such a nice Lady and the other tenants are very friendly and the rent includes all utilities and very reasonable priced.”

“There is a hush that falls over you as you pass through the gates, under the watchful evergreens that have stood guard longer than we have measured time. The kind of hush that makes you breathe deep, letting the scent of cedar and moss settle your spirit. Here, every campsite feels like a sanctuary: spacious, with gazebos and power, ready for early morning coffee as the light breaks through the branches. The towering trees form a cathedral of green, reminding you that nature’s architecture needs no improvement. And then, there is the river. Cold, clear, and alive, it winds past the mossy banks, inviting you to step in, to swim, to feel the current sweep away the noise of the world. Children’s laughter rings across the water, joining the gentle hush of the forest like a hymn to summer. But it is not just the beauty of this place that makes it special. It is the quiet nods of recognition around the campfire, the warm greetings from neighbors who are not strangers, but Brothers and Sisters, bound by a thousand threads of fraternity. Here, you know that everyone you pass shares the same commitment to friendship, relief, and truth, whether they wear the Square and Compasses, the Eastern Star, or the gentle reminders of countless fraternal paths. The Masonic Family Park is not merely a campground; it is a gathering place for the Craft and the heart. It is a reminder that, beneath the trees and the star-pinned sky, we are never alone on our journey, and that sometimes the best meetings happen around a campfire, with the river singing softly nearby. It is a place where you arrive as a traveler and leave as part of a family”

“Fantastic experience from a small independent. Staff was so helpful and accommodating. Cleanest place I have ever stayed, not an exaggeration. Breakfast had a great selection for a continental. “New owner took over about two years ago, has accomplished some things since then but there’s so much more that needs taken care of. He has been faced with a lot - to turn this place around. I suggest a cleaner, and better service. Please note this place does not have breakfast no vending machine machines. there are dollar stores and several gas stations in walking distance. Owner has a ‘manager’ type individual handling payments - the guy seems to be learning and doing what I feel to be a very good job. Owner tells him different prices - not the guys fault , it’s the owners fault giving different pricing •Charges $10 extra per night if you have a little one with you :/ tells you there’s a 2% transaction fee but charges you %5 per transaction. Sometimes more! Keep an eye out for this if you do choose to stay at this place.”
