“Wonderful, quiet, peaceful family-owned CG. We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed it, and we would love to return. The family who owns the CG is extremely nice. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, well-kept up and everything is very clean. A small pond, beautiful tent sites, wooded and shaded. OH – the price! Our site was $35 !! Where have you ever seen a price like that for a beautiful CG?! The drawback: no internet, no swimming, very poor phone reception. If there were internet and good phone reception, I’d give this CG 5 stars. For now, it’s 4 stars, but unplug and you’ll enjoy it!”

“Loved it!!! We had a great time as a family including the dogs!!! Was alot of fun for me and my kids my husband did his diving and I got to watch and learn and had some dive time myself. When I wasn't diving me and the kid's with the dogs got to swim in a little area. It was very nice just remember water shoes and bug spray. We camped for 2 nights and everyone was very nice. We are already talking about going back. Super fun place.”

New Fane Trail Area

Mary Beth Doyle Park

Address: 3500 Birch Hollow Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48108, USA

Park

“Good nature area amidst suburbia. Half a mile-ish fully paved, wide walking trail good for wheelchairs, strollers, bikes, roller skates/blades, etc surrounding the marshlands and reservoir. Newly paved basketball courts (2022 I believe) and a playground that's best for a little older kids (late elementary) but still fun for littler kids. Picnic tables throughout but no built-in grills. Cool disc golf course hidden amongst the trees and meadows. Lots of smaller trails connecting to surrounding neighborhoods which is my favorite part.”

Las Cruces KOA Journey

Address: 814 Weinrich Rd, Las Cruces, NM 88007, USA

Campground Park Rv park Lodging

“We’ve been to this KOA twice now, and we thoroughly enjoy it. The tent sites are nice, and the outdoor kitchen, pool, and upgraded restrooms are great. This place has amazing views eastward over Las Cruces, and if you can catch the sunrise over the Organ Mountains, it won’t disappoint. Also, many KOA campgrounds are too close to the interstate and are extremely loud as a result. This one is just far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to be convenient.”

Lost Hills KOA Journey

Address: 14831 Warren St, Lost Hills, CA 93249, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“The park is well taken care of and neighbors are very friendly. They have a cute little dog park with supplies to pick up after your pet. The amenities are nice with a laundromat you can control from an app on your phone for convenience. They also have individual shower rooms for privacy. The staff is wonderful and they were so accommodating to us given our trouble with inclement weather. We can’t thank them enough!”

Moose Pass Campground

“This is one of my favorite parks to take the kids. It's clean and there's never a crowd there.”

Lone Oak Farm

Address: 3318 Panhandle Rd, Delaware, OH 43015, USA

Park

“Manager Bill Oman caters to the needs of hunters for a few hours out with their bird dogs - grounds have gotten smaller due to urban encroachment but are well managed like a natural game bird habitat - it is a great place to break in a young dog or tune-up an older dog before the new season starts”

Tolentine Park

Address: 207 Governors Hwy, Olympia Fields, IL 60461, USA

Park

“Very nice park to take a walk and cool off at the splash pad. It's $5 for those who don't live in Olympia Fields I believe it's like $2 or $3 for residents. Fair enough. Nice simple place for kids to have fun.”

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park

Address: 1200 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, FL 33149, USA

Park

“This Place is Absolutely Beautiful. The Park Staff is super friendly and the entire experience is breathtaking. If you are looking to connect with nature, enjoy family time and put in your 10,000 steps for the day, this is the place. The nature trails are a great way to do all this, plus the park has tons of outdoor grills, lots of parking, clean bathrooms, lovely views, two great restaurants: The Lighthouse Cafe and Boaters Grill at the No Name Harbour. This is my most favorite park plus the drive to get there is scenic and you get the inspirational and good feeling every time you go there! Exceptional place to spend your day!”

Irvington Park

Address: 41825 Blacow Rd, Fremont, CA 94538, USA

Park

“This park may not be huge but crowded on weekdays because of soccer activities on the turf field. Many of residents can be seen jogging, walking or picnicking and even some yoga or other sports activities. Basket ball court is there close to the picnic area and you can see the kids around here. Almost every part of the park is being used. A lot of parking is available.”

Big Rock Park

Address: 900 1st Ave, New Brighton, PA 15066, USA

Park

“This park is very beautiful. It has a couple piers to fish of of. And a nice pavilion. Lots of benches. And a couple port a poties. There’s not a walking path though and very limited parking. But it is very peaceful to drive through and look at its beauty.”

Heartsda Garden

Address: 2250 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10710, USA

Park

Olde Muskingum Trail-Butterbridge Trailhead

Address: Massillon, OH 44647, USA

Park

“Nice area of the trailhead. Not as popular as other areas of the trail. Plenty of gravel parking and a porta potty. No benches or tables from what I could see. Even though the part of the trail is not real popular it does take a minute to cross Butterbridge road due to steady traffic.”

Lake Lou Yaeger

Address: 4943 Beach House Trail, Litchfield, IL 62056, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“We went on a Thursday, so there was literally no one there. We ate at the picnic table and enjoyed the views. I don't know much about the lake (size, depth, etc), but it is beautiful. They even have a beach. There is camping (campers or cabins). I bet this place comes to life Friday afternoon....”

Mayfair Park

Address: Mayfair Park, 220 W Louella Dr, Hurst, TX 76054, USA

“New carmel clay building”

Fuller Park

Address: 560 Jefferson St, Napa, CA 94559, USA

Park

“Beautiful park well groomed. Lots of squirrels romping. Great for walking the perimeter. Nice picnic area & playground. Only 1 problem is the homeless gather after dark then the park becomes a very unsafe place to be or walk through. No police patrols either.”

Saxapahaw Mill Race Paddle Access

Address: 6079 Swepsonville-Saxapahaw Rd, Graham, NC 27253, USA

Park

“Great paddle access point and walking trails.”

Veterans Barrington Park

Address: 333 S Barrington Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90049, USA

Park

“Half a block north of Barrington Recreation Center, here’s more tree lined open space to play baseball, soccer and do whatever within reason! A park for people and dogs, there’s also an enclosed dog run at the lower end of the parking lot allowing space for dog walkers and apartment dwellers to go with fun loving pets! The park is on land from the north end of the VA Center and includes a tribute to our military services. There’s paid parking spaces available and temporary street-side bus staging as permitted, with drivers in attendance. A locked portable toilet may be available for team use and paid parking user’s. Otherwise, public restrooms are available during operating hours at the nearby Barrington Recreation Center, just steps away.”
