“March '21. The entrance to the trail is down a paved lane off highway 74 at the fire station. It is a beautiful area full of oak trees. The trail is a little rocky here and there but not too hard and definitely worth the effort. It is well marked. You feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere but it's only a 45 minute drive from PS. The area is so pretty and there were still some snow patches.”

This park is truly a 🐶 dog park in it's self because so many people came out with their dogs! 🚫Warning‼‼ But that day we 👀 saw a "HAWK" trying to pick up a good size little 🐕 dog & the owner a (young lady) she was throwing water 💦 at it but it just went back into the 🌳🌳 trees! Have never been called back so fast. Gave us a space # and said she'd see us tomorrow. Very nice concrete slaps with full hookups. Nice grass yards. “Great park! Clean, well kept park. No pets allowed. Volleyball nets, small water park in summer time and large play ground area. Trail for walking, biking, non motorized bikes, skateboards. Sprawling yard for Frisbee or playing catch. Clean pavilions for small groups. Went with a packed lunch with my mother on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at how nicely kept the grounds were. Though there were many people at the park it is so large it did not seem crowded. There even was a little library box where you could read available books while you swung on an adjacent large bench swing. Definitely will be bringing my kids with me upon my next visit.”

“I am so very impressed with the town of Stuart to have developed and maintain this park. It is a real gem. It's in a little valley on the edge of town and is one of the prettiest parks I've seen this side of the Mississippi. Here you can enjoy the peaceful beauty of the outdoors. The trails are paved and they wind throughout the entire area. There are plenty of picnic tables, many of which are within gazebos. There's a good playground for the kids, a creek meandering through the park, a small memorial park, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field and so much more. They occasionally have small concerts on the grass, too. This is a 5 star recreation area.”

We picked up so much garbage, my 7 year old granddaughter knows to leave it cleaner than you found it, sure wish everyone did the same.”
