Their capers homemade BBQ sauce (baby back ribs) are more ketchup-y than a usual BBQ sauce. Tender but not very juicy unfortunately Update: this time I got the lamb shank and it's soooo good. Also I didn't eat much of their mashed potato last time cuz I was so full, but that's actually also so good”

Now for the tastiest of them all...chimis were outrageously good, churros were absolutely delightful and loooovvvved the caramel sauce, refreshing strawberry fresca, and now for the star....Tacos! I had hard and soft chicken and beef tacos... the grilled chicken hard taco was the best taco ever, didn't even need sauce...I could eat these all day long😋😋😋”

“Googled best burger in riverside and this is what came up. Since it's close by, decided to try it out. Got the california burger which has pickles, avocado, onions, bacon, and shredded lettuce. 9.5/10 just as good if not better than Johnnys Burger. Patty was perfectly seasoned, bacon was perfect, and all the fresh ingredients were fresh and thinly sliced. I also ordered the zucchini and onion rings which were also awesome. The breading they use stuck to the zucchini and didn't slide off like most places. Just wish the ranch had more dill/onion flavor. Small family owned shop that serves probably the best burger in riverside. Will come back again”

“We had dinner here while staying at near by Salt Springs Campground. We waited until Friday to hit this spot for the seafood and all you can eat crab legs. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the owner Pop’s and our server were wonderful. Very attentive, made sure our drinks stayed full, cleared away dirty plates and answered all of our questions. The owner not only rounded and made every guest feel at home but jumped in serving and clearing tables. We will definitely be back!”

“They’ve changed! I don’t know why they don’t have any recent reviews but the food was amazing! And per their website, they’re open 5a-8p daily. When I arrived, the food was laid out behind the counter and it was hot and fresh. I regret I didn’t get a picture cause the food selections looked that amazing. The big guy behind the counter, Gamaliel, was super friendly and explained the menu special, 2 tacos and a large drink for $6. You can also get plates, fajitas or bowls. I tried the taco special and got shrimp fajita and chicken fajita and they were SO good. The chicken had good flavor but the shrimp was the best. The seasoning was spot on and the onions and peppers were cooked with just the right crispness when you bite into them. They have some toppings behind the glass that you can add to your food, but they are extra. The toppings at the self serve bar are free and they had a decent selection. Overall, I highly recommend y’all give this place another try. I would definitely eat here again.”

They have a small salsa bar with pico de gallo, red sauce, green sauce and pickled carrots. The price was reasonable and the food plentiful! Everything was delicious! He got the Baltimorean and I got the Shrimp Salad Sandwich, which were both very good but on the pricey side. I also got a $5 orange crush because it was happy hour so that was nice. “The day we visited was Father's Day, so there were a lot of people. I'm rating restaurant five stars; giving them the benefit of the doubt that they're actually better than they were that day. AMBIANCE: This place is a great outdoor culinary experience. It provides valet parking and more than just sit and dine. The dining area is shaded, but it is outdoors, so dress accordingly. You can see the train from the property, which is a nice treat. After dinner, you're invited to enjoy the propeety with its many intimate conversations and viewing spots. Also outdoors, so wear a hat and sunscreen. ACCESSIBILITY: Out stroller was not difficult to navigate down to the dining area, but if you're in a wheelchair you're going to need help with that steep dirt entrance. FOOD: The food portions are a bit small. We ordered the aguachile verde, it was dry; lacking lime juice and flavor, it was very spicy, though which was expected. We also ordered the octopus, and almost half was very charred. It was bitter and not palatable, a waste. The other two dishes were ribs super delicious and the steak, it had a good flavor but again, small portions. I ordered the cantarito, and even though the alcohol was at a good level, it lacked flavor it was very bland. They don't offer courtesy drinking water, which is ok, but it's good to let people know they'll have to buy some if they get thirsty. I'd visit again because of the ambiance they provide. They have music playing around the clock, so it's extremely loud. If you have sensitive ears, I'd recommend bringing earbuds. All in all, I'd visit again as a date or family outing.”
