While there were unforeseen shortages of wine and beer due to the enthusiastic weekend crowd, the staff promptly resolved the matter. The ambiance was perfectly suited for intimate conversations among a small group, maintaining an ideal balance between not being overly subdued and not being excessively boisterous. Kisho Japanese Restaurant is wholeheartedly recommended, and I look forward to returning for another enjoyable dining experience.”

“A total gem of a find. Family owned with fresh ingredients and a friendly atmosphere. The garlic Edamame have a little kick but the flavor is great. I ordered the masago (smelt eggs). The portion was a little small, but the taste was good. I also tried the wonton poke, (Spicy tuna on a bed of seaweed on a wonton shell.) It too has a kick. So delicious! Last but not least was the salmon skin salad. Now, this wasn't on the menu, but I saw it on their website and they said they could make it for me. It is GREAT! I told them to put it back on the menu- it is that good.”

“I had stopped in here back in January when my daughter needed a tire from the shop next door. I was truly pleased with the food and service we received. So today, I was driving back from Quartzsite and remembered this place and had to stop for lunch. They had a special, slice and 5 wigs for $8.99, I thought that was a great deal. I ended up getting a slice of pepperoni and mushroom with 5 hot wings. The pizza was better than I remember, the crust was nice and crispy and the sauce had great flavor. I'll be honest, when I first saw the wings I thought they were going to be soggy cuz they looked drenched in sauce. Boy was I wrong, those were some good wings. Every one of them was cooked just right and had crispy skin. Even the last one at the bottom of the bowl that was sitting in the sauce was still crispy when I ate it. The guys behind the counter were friendly and got me my order right away. If your looking for a great pizza joint in Buckeye, I suggest you visit Palermo's Pizza. You wont be disappointed.”

“So this was by far our favorite spot in the Valle - mostly cuz it's kind of kitschy and off the beaten path. We also got tired of paying $30 for a tasting everywhere we went. Sitara is the owner/winemaker, and she's awesome!! Her and her husband run it, and her husband actually is a distiller also, so the cocktails are really good if you want a changeup from wine. The pizza was really good too. And they do live music on Saturdays, so we went to have dinner, drink, and listen to music. We loved it and definitely recommend!”

I mean, when you get a catfish strips dinner with sides of house salad and potato salad, you expect a small bowl of three item salad and a 1/2 cup of potato salad. My heavens! the potato salad was filling a big soup bowl, and my salad was layers in a big pasta bowl. The catfish was crunchy, sweet, not greasy, and filled a 10-inch plate. Husband had a cheese burger with onion rings piled up. Said it would have been best if they used Duke's instead of miracle whip for the mayo. Oh, we thought we needed a starter, so we ordered fried mushrooms, delicious, but oh so many. Had to bring most of everything home for later. Definitely will be back!”
