“We chose Horizon Divers because of their high ratings and because they were able to offer a PADI Junior Open Water certification for our son (not all dive shops do). I can honestly say I can’t think of a way our experience could have been better! Our tutor Christina was incredibly positive and encouraging, as well as being deeply knowledgeable about diving. Our session started with a video specifically about diving with kids so we felt in safe hands from the outset. The pool day was long and tough! But nothing was rushed, which meant we felt 100% ready for the ocean dives on day 2 and 3. Again, everything on the boat was so professional, with multiple staff safety-checking everything. I think we’ll be life-long customers of Horizon after this, and will certainly return to them for more dives when we’re in the Keys next.”

But ever since Dr. Wilson took over in 2006, She has made a positive impact on the school climate, the children, and the community. I applaud the principal, and teachers...They deserve recognition. “After thorough research of where we wanted to take our daughter to preschool, we came across Haykazunyadz Preschool. Our daughter has been going to Haykazunyadz for a year now and we couldn’t be happier. My daughter has learned so much this past year. Her vocabulary has grown significantly in both English and Armenian. The staff is super friendly, they are professional, well trained in child development and they have fresh healthy meals made for the children daily with their in house chef. They have so many activities planned out every month for the children, it’s amazing. They have teachers come in to teach children chess, sign language, music, dance, and much more. I’m so happy we chose Haykazunyadz as our preschool. My daughter is so happy every morning going to school and loves her teachers and the staff so much. “I know that some people may be upset with their or their child's experience at HVMS and I get that. every school gets complaints and here at HVMS we embrace them and use them to make our school are more fun, and welcoming place to be, but we don't let them define who we are. I know middle school can be a scary threatening place for newcomers but I found that when I came to this school it almost instantly felt like home, most of the staff is so kind and welcoming and make us students feel safe. Our school welcomes all gender identifications, races, and helps the less fourtunante. And as for the bullies, well every school has them so saying that the only thing that defines us are our bullies is stupid and pointless because you could go to any school and experience bulling, and its not the kids fault. they should learn right from wrong from their parents not our teachers. Also almost none of the money we earn from fundraisers/dances goes to the 'Thirst Project" A company that collects funds to provide wells for people in africa, so we are most definately not self centered and selfish.”

“St. Francis Xavier Catholic School is excellent. With Christ as the center, the students tackle a rigorous curriculum in a very tech savvy environment. In my experience as a parent, most teachers are very kind, accommodating and eager to help their students achieve success. The students are really pushed to reach their full potential. There are also wonderfully growing music and athletic programs. My child who currently attends is excited to go to school most mornings because he is surrounded by a great group of classmates and teachers.
