“Temple Beth Ami is not just a Reform Temple. It provides a complete Jewish Community in the City Santa Clarita. I first found out about Temple Beth Ami when I heard that it was hosting an event for Senator Bernard Sanders. Senator Sanders is not only Jewish, he was as a young man a member of, "Hasomer Hatziar", a Jewish Organization that dedicates itself to social equality and the ongoing fight for both social justice and a sense of "Community" for all of those who fight for social justice. Temple Beth Ami, the Temple Of The House Of Friendship. Even though I live in Studio City, which is a 45 minute drive from the Santa Clarita, I believe that Temple Beth Ami is a place where Community, Spirituality and commitment to social justice exists. Certainly all of those in the United States, even non-Jews, should be creating similar places that combine the core qualities that are required to elevate all peoples who are seeking a commitment to social justice, a commitment to human values and a commitment to spirituality.”

“If you are looking for an experience like the earlier believers, not a 45 min in/out, 'get the religiion in me' and get out kind of sabbath, then plan to spend a whole day (yes, a WHOLE day in praise, worship, study, fellowship, and more!) Start time is a suggestion, but always leave refreshed and ready to face this world as we prepare for the next!”

“Congregation Beth Emeth is like a second home my for my family and I. It is such a wonderful, inspiring and beautiful community that I am proud to be a part of. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a synagogue to drop in and attend a service. There are always so many fun things to do or be involved in. In a couple of years, we will be preparing for a bar mitzvah AND a bat mitzvah and the religious school has given and continues to give some of our most favorite memories and lessons. Rabbi Goldsmith has been so wonderful and I will forever be thankful for all the support and guidance she has given me throughout the years. I don't know how I'll ever be able to repay her for all she's taught me, the patience she has with me during difficult times and the unconditional support, compassion and kindness she continues to give. Even in the most busy of times, she has taken the time out to come to visit me when I have been too ill (despite the rather long commute) and has shown genuine concern for my entire well being. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else and look forward to the coming years of being able to see the most important little ones in my family have their bar and bat mitzvah. It will probably be one of the proudest moments of my life and I am grateful I will get to share it with those at Beth Emeth.”

“If you're looking for God, go home! Chabad is home! You will be greeted with unconditional love. This is a house of no judgement. It is not a typical synagogue with fees that make you want to heave. Of course donations are helpful. But the more you give, the more goes right back to the community. Never have I Encountered a more generous branch of Judaism. Whether you're just looking for an opportunity to learn; a place to pray; a place to just celebrate and eat really good food; or A place to feel like you really belong. Chabad is for you. Chabad is for every Jew!!”

“Super friendly and warm congregation. My husband and I both grew up in towns with large Jewish populations. We moved to Warren county where we soon realized we were one of the few Jewish families. We shopped around and landed at JCNWJ about 6 years ago when our son was in Kindergarten. The Sunday school teacher welcomed him with open arms and he quickly grew to like Sunday school. He continues to be an engaged and active Jewish learner as he will soon will be preparing for his Bar Mitzvah. As adults in the congregation, we have met so may nice people here and know I can go anytime with or without my family and have people to talk to and catch up with. The Rabbi is wonderful with both adults and kids as well as being very approachable. Overall, I feel very blessed to have found JCNWJ.”
