“Amazing experience!! Great for kayakers of any level. SRQ was so kind and accommodating, allowing us to reschedule when my husband came down with food poisoning. The mangrove tunnels were beautiful! The highlight were the manatees that followed us back in and hung out right next to us. Midnightpass beach was gorgeous and fun for a stop to swim! Our guide and the team were so friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!!”

“Stopped here on our way back from vacation. The rest stop is the nicest one we've been at on our travels. There are clean restrooms, a visitor center, tourist attraction pamphlets, picnic tables, and ample parking. PDOT was also doing a safety day when we visited. It included a display by the State Troopers on the importance of highway safety, information pamphlets, and coloring pages for kids. The outside had a heartwrenching memorial of the PDOT workers who perished at work. It's a good reminder that the ONLY thing you should be paying attention to on the road is driving. Whatever else can wait.”

Each shop we went in to was prepared with a treat or offering. I would HIGHLY recommend you take the tour... you will NOT regret it.... and make sure you get the t-shirt after visiting most of them! Also.... pick up a paper passport at the Welcome Center. Do not use the online form. Most of the businesses said they had an issue with getting it to work.”

“I planned a surprise 30th bday for a friend, and our group stayed at the Main House over this recent Memorial Day Weekend! The location had beautiful views, and was extremely close to Lake George Village! It couldn't be more ideal in that regard! The house itself was also wonderfully spacious! We had 11 people stay and there was more than enough room for us all! It was nicely set up, all the appliances worked as they should, and we genuinely found nothing to complain about! The communication with the owners/managers was also great! Everyone was extremely kind, and extremely quick to respond to inquiries leading up to our stay! The only - though very minor - critic I can make is just about parking. It does state openly on their website that there are only two parking spots, but since the house can hold up to 14 people, it is small compared to the total occupancy of the home. Now, there was a street just a couple steps away that we were able to park some cars, and we lucked out that the unit next door was unoccupied so we could use those spots, too. But, that being said, we did still have to juggle our cars around during our stay. Again, not a major inconvenience, but one worthy enough to note. My advice to anyone planning to book the Main House with a large group is to travel with big cars, and try to pile as many people and things as you can into (at most) two cars, to avoid parking troubles! That said, I highly recommend this home and would stay again a million times over! It really was the perfect getaway vacation spot, and I couldn't be happier with our stay!”

“I would rate our condo at Sunset Vistas experience a 6 if I was able to. The unit was very clean and up to date. A recent re-model with new appliances and kitchen cabinets gave the condo a modern taste. Wood plank floors were much better than hard clay tile flooring. We had our own designated covered parking spot which is always a plus. Dale and Kara were excellent hosts. The water temperature was OK for me, but my wife thought it was a little on the cooler side, but you could still spend time in the water. I don’t think Dale and Kara had much control over the water temperature. The view from our balcony was perfect, especially during sunset time. All in all, our stay was great. Good selection of restaurants and close to many other attractions. We experienced no problems during our visit and will definitely return for a longer stay.”

“My first time flying Delta & it was a great experience. My flight from Syracuse to Atlanta there was a screen on the back of the seat in front of me that showed all the pre flight instructions that Flight Attendants usually do in the middle of the aisles. I was given a free set of rest plus for my private viewing/listening pleasure. My entire row did get skipped over for the snack & beverage, though. When the plane landed, wheelchairs were lined up with attendants who had names of the passengers who needed assistance. So personalized. I felt special. The plane into Dallas from Atlanta did not have the screen, but again wheelchair attendants were ready for us. All the staff were very accommodating, friendly & helpful. So far a wonderful experience. The 1 negative is when I estimated my checked baggage fee it was supposed to be free for Sky Miles Members, which I am. When I checked in online, I had to pay a $35 fee. On return trip I will not check my bag online. I will wait until I get to the airport & will ask about it. I was too tired early in the morning to remember to ask about it.”
