“One of the most consistently active areas of the PDZA. The puffins and murres are always up to something. The pinnipeds are also nearly always in view. Missed the sea otters last time, but caught them snoozing this time. Miss the walrus. Great zoo architecture for both the residents and us visitors. Update: Walrus are back and they are wonderful.”

“We went first thing in the morning. My 18month old loved seeing all of the animals. There was a large variety of species. I will always remember my little one feeding the giraffes! What a cool experience and a great way to see how gentle these big creatures are. Some concessions were still not open by the time we left at noon-1ish but there were lots of vending machines along the way. The tickets were a bit pricey for us locals to go often but we still had a blast and will likely make this a every summer trip.”

“This is a great bird watching park. Nobody else was here when I was here. On a Sunday afternoon. The short foot path on the recycled plastic wood surface made for easy walking and would accommodate a wheelchair or scooter so the gimps can enjoy nature, too.”

(VERY NICE) I'm extremely impressed by the entrance fee. All these years.. .only $7. (Went up by $2). This is a must visit.😁. Also, you can pet, interact, and feed the animals.”

The sunset on the land is stunning and it’s fun to take a stroll and see the animals. It was so peaceful, I can’t wait to come back and visit!”

“This is a really fun hidden gem in Palo Alto! A lot of great little walking trails surround this area as well. The donkeys are friendly and will walk right up to the fence to say hello and let you pet them. One of the donkeys was the model for donkey in Shrek! "That'll do, donkey. That'll do."”

“One of the best days of our vacation was spent at this zoo! I would definitely come back again, this time maybe for The Wilds experience. We got there fairly early, not long after opening. FYI, there is a parking fee collected when you enter the lot, so be ready. We saw so many animals and had great views that allowed for some awesome pics. Definitely recommend spending the extra cash to feed the giraffes, too. I do this at any zoo that offers it and it never gets old. We covered most of the zoo in a very busy 3 hours, but if you want to take your time, you could easily spend a whole day. Oh, and I loved the Frosty cart, it was a great treat right before heading out. I haven't seen one like this anywhere else and it was a perfect ending to the day. Definitely recommend.”

“This was a nice exhibit! There was a lot of space for the fox(es), and I was able to see one of them. The fox was a little further away, but I tried to get some pictures of it. I enjoyed this exhibit, and also recommend going to this animal conservation center in general.”

“Loved it... Had a fantastic day. I suggest getting the combination entry it's only a few dollars more and gives you; a trolley ride through the safari, access to the petting zoo, and access to more of the animal's (ones that bite or parents are highly protective of their babies section and or can harm people, like kangaroos.) Great for all animal lovers. Oh and cups of feed are $2 to give the animals to help bring them up to you. For those of you who's funds are tight, I been there. This is a must know place. Geese, ducks, swans, and wildlife hang out around a pond full of koi, island pavilion with a lovely wood bridge over the water to it, tables,... And many other things to find to do at no cost. I could see me making the drive just to sit in the chairs by the pond. Must see place... 💯”

“We had a wonderful time visiting the farm today. Bob shared so many interesting facts and stories from all his travels and time raising wallabies. We each had plenty of time holding the baby wallaby. We visited with the adult wallabies, visited the emu and took a ride around the beautiful property. Many blooming daffodils. I can't wait to visit again.”

“The Texas Reptile Zoo is a hidden gem in Bastrop! The facility is family owned and operated. The owners are very friendly, informative and engaged with their guests. I was especially impressed by the high level of animal activity in each exhibit!! (There were not any sleepy, hidden animals to be found there! Fantastic!) It was interesting to see that every habitat was hand crafted to replicate the natural enviornment that each particular animal thrives in, contributing to animal activeness. The zoo is in it's first few years of operation and it is really neat to see the creative renovations the owners have been making onsite. I am looking forward to bringing my family back over the years to watch this zoo continue to expand and grow!”

“WOW! What an unforgettable experience! My family and I came in from Kansas City to visit and it was incredible. We were there from open until close. The splash park is a wonderful addition so be sure to bring your swimsuits, sunscreen, and towels. Such a great way to cool off on a hot day. We loved the unlimited feedings option. My kids could not get enough of it! We can't wait to come back again!!”

“This is a really nice private zoo. It is not a large zoo, but much better than some large zoos around the country. If you live in the area or just visiting, be sure to check out this hidden jet. They have a nice variety of animals. Be sure to take the time to do the train, it's well worth the money. If coming during the warmer months go first thing in the morning. All the zoo keepers and employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. You don't have to go with kids to enjoy. I'll definitely be back for more visits!!”

“Definitely a small zoo, but still an interesting place to see some native animals up close. I was glad to see that there wasn't anything too exotic, from an animal welfare standpoint, especially considering the harsh winters in this area. Nice place to walk around with my 6 yr old and fun to read about the animals, especially the stories of how they came to the zoo, like Pandora's comical story we laughed about! We also recently saw a wild barred owl and we love to go to Tug Hill in the evenings and call to them. We hear them so often that it was cool to see one much closer up, given all we have learned of them. Only thing I think definitely needs attention is the tanks inside! They were full of algae and a couple dead fish (pictured). The turtle was a kind I've never seen or heard of before, so it was cool to see that and learn how common they actually are. But someone really needs to be keeping up with tank maintenance!”

“I have used services of Dreamcatcher and have nothing but great memories. They are very professional and courteous and they make sure all kids enjoy their rides and give parents plenty of time to take photos and let kids pet ponies and no rushing through. Minimum of at least 5 times around arena and plenty of room for grownups walking beside ponies to circle arena with their kids. They are very efficient and professional at large parties and always a big hit with both kids and parents. 5 star rating is what I give them.”

“Not like other zoos, this one is much more open, so small kids can also enjoy the animals from such a nice distance. Till now, I didn't see any tiger or lion from such an open area. There are picnic areas inside so anyone can bring their own food and enjoy it. At the entrance, there is a small cafeteria where you can find pizza and some other foods. Museums are also good.”
