“Awesome park which had a walking path around several animal cages. Our kids loved seeing bison, deer, and elk. There were several playgrounds as well which were also a great source of amusement. Highly recommend for a family fun day.”

“Had an incredible & educational visit with 2 of my coworkers. Did not know what to fully expect other than having my hopes set "way too high" upon knowing they had sloth interactions... Not only did the family that runs/operates this sanctuary accommodate a flexible schedule to our last minute work delays, they were more than welcoming upon our arrival. Before I get into detail about the animal interactions I want to make it known that this family has the utmost respect, love, care & devotion for their animals...the paid for interactions with these animals are not abusive, harmful, or stressful to the animals' well being and they truly put their animals' needs FIRST before the customers'. We did both the sloth & the lemur interactions and were blown away. Beyond being in the same environment as these beautiful creatures, the presentation was more than educational. All of their animals have been rescued from various "bad" environments & rehabilitated to stronger, healthier lifestyles. Their entire staff was knowledgeable & passionate about each of their animals and we were in awe the majority of the 3hrs we spent there. Highly recommend for those that appreciate and respect the love for animals - can't thank this family enough for what they do and allowing us to share of piece of their home with us. - Exceeded my high hopes”

“A very good place to visit if you love bird watching and hiking and admission is free. The bird sanctuary is well maintained and there are many birds flying around freely. you can even see groups of humming birds just at the entrance of the museum. There's a very small museum with taxidermy of animals of the wild like bobcat, grizzly bear etc and a few reptiles. There's also hiking trails nearby to view the canyons.”

“Captain Bob & Tom are both birding naturalists who make you feel at ease on board the Osprey, a very solid & safe feeling pontoon boat. We had a great time and saw many shore birds, raptors, a Nelson’s sparrow, belted kingfisher, 2 bald eagles, many greater yellowlegs & black crowned night herons. Whether you’re just out for a nice sail on Cape May Harbor & the beautiful saltwater marshes, or are a serious birder &/or photographer, Captain Bob will do all he can to make the experience enjoyable.”

“Very nice farm! The place is small but it allows you to see the animals closer than you would see in a zoo. Ticket is $8.5 for adult. You can pay extra for bear/monkey food/goat+ pig bottle. We also got to pet a bunny. There were some unique animals that we never got to see in the zoos we have visited, such as alligator snapping turtle and sloth.”

“Have been to about 10 events and the kids have such a great time, getting a pony ride, on a bigger horse or smaller one. Kids go 2 and 3 times to ride the horse. You can feed the small animals too, pet them. Great family fun events, go to facebook Country Yard Critters, see what it's all about.... ”

“Visiting zoos is one of my favorite hobbies, and I've been to many. This is one of the best, and it constantly keeps getting even better. Even though I grew up going to the Denver Zoo, it never gets old, and I visit at least once a month. I have fond memories with my grandparents here, and now that my kids are getting closer to being grown, I'm excited to bring my own grandkids someday. The Denver Zoo has a long, rich history yet still always feels state-of-the-art. This is one of my favorite places in Colorado!”

“The best place to visit in the fall. Animals are well cared for. The playing field its B-I-G (slides, hay rides, pedal carts, jumping houses, small zip lines for kids under 100 lbs, etc) Easy smooth drive. It's the perfect place to have fun with the whole family... Also beautiful for a photo shoot”

“There is a reason this place has great reviews. Everyone here is very friendly. The hike is not difficult at all. It is 1.5 miles total round trip. You are able to see and feed Zebras, Alpacas, a bull, and pet some horses. You can see Stanley the Giraffe from a distance, but our walking tour did not get up close to him. It was well worth going out to Malibu. The weather was perfect and the entire scene was picturesque. Sebastian our hiking tour guide was a really cool dude. Midway through the hike you get to sample 3 wines. Very nice pours and delicious tasting wines. I have nothing but good to say about this experience. I highly recommend.”

“The price was reasonable for the experience. The zoo is small but good quality, they also do multiple feeding demos throughout the day with education! The science part was pretty cool, a lot bigger than I expected and my 2 year old loved it, she couldn't "really" do everything but she certainly enjoyed trying. We left the grounds and got lunch then came back no problem. Its also a part of a beautiful nature park - we explored there for about an hour but id love to go back and explore more”

“The San Francisco Zoo is one of the most acclaimed and outstanding Zoos in the country. They have their own parking lots and the Zoo is such a big venture that you'll see signs and be able to follow Zoo traffic from any highway any direction into the city and that makes it easy. There are many animals to see. It is very good place to take the kids along. We usually go for family outings to the zoo , it is really a nice place to spend the entire day cheerfully. There are options for so many activities. One gets to see so many species . Getting a membership is really a good option for families which have to take their kids for outings.”

“Small but fascinating, good place to keep toddlers contained but also engaged. The staff take some of the bugs out from time to time and allow you to pet them.”

“This is a not so hidden gem in Griffith Park. It's a free historical site of the Penguin Island at The San Francisco Zoo. The cages are still there. It's a perfect picnic spot. It's an interesting place to explore. I love urban exploration so this is a great spot without too much of a hike to get there. Be aware there is wildlife in the area. Last time I was there I saw wild dogs/coyotes.”

“They have lions and tigers! And a ugly hiena...I had no idea! Very cool. But poor beautiful creatures are locked up in small cages. Can't we put together a funding to get them bigger roaming cages. Follow up; got a nice response from the owner. Very pleases to hear the expansion efforts are in the process. And I have no doubts that the care is top notch for these beautiful creatures. Again so very cool the types of life you have there. I'm very impressed. I will certainly reach out to Mara as well as visit your GOFUNDME page. I hope others do the same! Thank you for your response.”
