“Very cool place. Loved that it was in the middle of central park so it's accessable. Got to see a lot of cool animals, and the reptile and bird enclosures were awesome. All the enclosures were well thought out and seemed big enough for the species inside. Sometimes slippery especially in the bird enclosure as its very humid. A few exhibits were under maintenance so there were some parts we missed. Lovely staff, the birds are surprisingly friendly, and the children's zoo was pretty good too. Decent prices.”

“A very cool experience to be able to be with wildlife you'd never be able to otherwise. To pet, feed and mingle with deer, geese, ducks and peacocks is the coolest thing! Of course all of the other animals were also fun, but, more of the typical zoo or farm animals. My children were in heaven and adored the adventure, as did I. Will definitely be going again. Highly recommend”

“Loved it. The wait in line was short when we arrived. We purchased the feeding buckets with lettuce, carrots and pellets to feed the animals. The whole atmosphere was totally relaxed. It was spacious and clean. The gift shop was amazing with plenty of affordable items to choose from I picked up my son a tee shirt, stuffed giraffe and rhinoceros. I recommended this place to anyone with children or animal lovers.”

“What a great time we had. The staff is super friendly and it’s obvious how much they love their animals. The animals are well cared for and are beautiful to see and interact with. We got the kangaroo tour for a little more $. It was worth every penny. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday special. We will definitely come back.”

“Had a wonderful time visiting the center. It would have been better on a cooler day or maybe earlier in the morning. The kids did not enjoy the zoo part in the heat and the animals were smart staying inside. Was impressed with the amount of butterflies they had. Lots of play areas for kids to enjoy. The aquarium section had a good variety of fish and other animals to see. The dinosaur area was okay but wasn't a highlight. Pretty basic. Bonus we got to see the baby red panda they had in the hospital building. It was so adorable.”

“This is a nice Zoo with a variety of animals for a family or couple to enjoy. The prices for admission are reasonable and I even received a discount for showing my college identity card. There is a cool little train ride that is great for kids and a fountain area near the entrance to cool you off. Some animals were not visible or were out of their exhibits but that was mainly due to the heat.”

“Perfect size for kids to roam around this beautiful zoo with nice gardens and playgrounds for children with lots of fun things to do and see. We loved all the birds and animals, and all the spooky Halloween decorations.”

“Fantastic little gem, my family loves coming here. All their animals are so friendly. Great for birthday parties at the farm! We have also had the petting zoo at our house for my daughter's birthday party. So flexible and accommodating. Jennifer and Patricia are truly sweethearts.”

“This is a great place to go with family. I especially enjoyed the elephants, although I am sure they regularly change their exhibits. If you go, plan on bringing extra money for drinks and food. A bottle of Aquafina was $5.35. You could also opt to bring your own water and snacks, but make sure you follow the rules. Today when we checked into the gate, we didn't have anyone check our bags. But always follow the rules they have on their site. It took us about 3 hours to walk briskly around the Zoo. If you want to take your time, I'd give it 5 hours and plan on eating. For those with walking troubles, you can rent a scooter in advance or rent a wheel chair. There are lots of hills to plan for, so make sure you have a good pusher for the chair. It is a wooded area, but sunscreen is still a good thing to have. Most of all, have fun! Hope this helps.”

“It was my grandson’s birthday. Although, we stood in line for at thirty minutes or so, because there was only one person at counter. It was worth the wait. We received token for my grandson to feed the animals since it was his birthday and we enjoyed ourselves. I think the grandkids grew tired from waiting in line to enter. But overall it was a great experience.”

“Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. We had the Alabama Hot Brown with fries and the 8oz. Sirloin with macaroni and cheese. Both were delicious, but the star of the show was the Raspberry an Ice cream dessert. Incredibly good!”

“We went on a weekday and were able to get in rather quickly with a low crowd. Several exhibits were under refurbishment when we went. Some of the exhibits were really nice but it was rather hot so the admirals were mostly hiding in the shade. We rode the train which was nice on a hot day but it costs extra. The sky liner was not running that day. We had lunch at the cafe The food was standard fast food with hamburgers and chicken strips. There is a large seating area outdoors. It is a small zoo but fun to take small kids for animal encounters.”

“My husband booked the "triple threat" for me and my family for my birthday and it was truly an exceptional once-in-a-life-time experience! Adam is an extremely knowledgeable falconer and guide. It was awesome to see him handle the magnificent birds with such finesse. Holding the owl was surreal! What a beautiful and gentle encounter. Then came time for the hawks to show their stuff. Having them land on my arm was such an exhilarating thrill as one who has always loved birds. I cannot recommend Hawks on Hand enough! Thank you so very much, Adam! I hope to make their (and your) acquaintance again in the future.”

“We did the farm tour and it was incredible. We got an hour of one on one time with the alpacas. They were incredibly sweet. We were able to feed them lots of treats and pet them as much as we wanted! The owner was so kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back! Such an amazing experience.”

“Samantha brought 7 animals to my son’s 9th birthday. Her program was very informative, the animals were so cute, and everyone had a great time. She was very easy to work with and showed up early. Very professional!”

“Drove 14 hours and spent 500$ just on lodging to visit this place for 2 days; because my daughter has been a fan of their videos for years and years! We went Saturday and Sunday both days open to close, 8 hours each day. She got to meet almost every animal celebrity she's been watching and spend the whole day with them to watch how they change behaviors through the day/night, and watch some feedings. She also got to meet Emily and Ed both days and it was truly incredible! Emily has always been her number 1 role model and this was literally a dream come true since we live so many states away. The staff were incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, funny and so patient with all the children♥️. Thank you all for this experience and I wish you all the best of luck! We got to experience 6 tours in the 2 days, learned so so much, and got to pet more animals than I could count. 10$ a day for this experience was SUCH an amazing deal! We also got to meet so many other families that traveled very far like we did and were visiting for the first time, like us. We also wondered around the store a dozen times watching all those animals as well, talking about the different habitats and shopping the gift shop items.”

“So much more than the pictures show. Such a wonderful place to take the kids and have a day of family fun!! We love to go at least once a month to check up on the animals and feed them. Beautiful trail, sweet and caring volunteers, gift shop inside, nice playground and swing area. Just all around good, free fun! Do not forget to donate what you can! It will help to take care of the animals and with keeping the sanctuary beautiful 🥰”

“Amazing little zoo!! Didn't expect a whole lot going in and boy was I wrong. This intimate little zoo allowed us to see these animals way closer than expected! Went on a weekday, so it wasn't very busy. All of the exhibits were great, but the bear exhibits truly stood out. I have never been able to get that close to a bear before. It was truly magnificent. The thing that puts this zoo ahead of all others I have been to is how closely all of the animals can be viewed. Also my first time seeing a snow leopard. Definitely recommend!”

“My first time visiting this place and I hiked the Beaver Trail. I saw the waterfalls at Beaver Falls, but there was not much of a flow. I plan on returning and hiking every trail there.”

“I had solo blasting afternoon at the zoo to kill my time. I entered at 1.30 pm and I finished the trip at 5 pm on weekday and I covered most of it. Things to consider : —————————- - Book your tickets online in advance. They only accept cards every where no cash. - Get total experience ticket it’s worth every penny if you are visiting for the first time. It includes 1) feeding of - string rays , birds , Giraffe. 2) unlimited train rides. 3) 4D theatre experience. Along with Zoo entrance. - You are allowed get your own food ( better option I feel ) - Never miss 4D shows. Kids will love it . Go in advance if they say play is at 3 pm be there before 5 mins. —————————— I love the fact that gardens are really maintained well and with this crazy hot around I enjoyed walking in the afternoon too. I love the fact that volunteers are really very friendly. It’s above 5 star for their attitude and kind gesture. Overall it’s bit pricey but you will enjoy the trip with your total experience package.”

“It was an amazing experience at the ranch. Our 2 year old had a lot of fun petting some of the animals and feeding most of them and so did I. The ranch was fairly clean given the fact that there are so ny kinds of animals there. The smell was not bad either. The prices for the adults ($15) amd parking ($5) was reasonable I think. Children under 3 are free to enter. Most of the farm animals were active and interactive but the lions, tiger, kangaroo, hyena and bear were mostly sleeping during our 2 hour visit. The prices for the feed was reasonable as well ($10 for 4 bags or $3 for 1). Overall it was a great experience. I thought that the tours were confusing to track and locate and there were not enough staffs present. The ones that were present were friendly. Would definitely be interested to go again on a slightly less hotter day.”
