Commisso Estate Winery

We visited the winery for a tasting and charcuterie yesterday; all I can say is wow! June was absolutely terrific and enhanced our experience. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The wines are excellent; my personal favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon. The owners stopped by our table to say hello as well; I highly recommend visiting Commisso during your next trip to Niagara!

But what made our visit truly unforgettable was the impeccable service provided by our server, June. Her kindness and attentiveness were remarkable, making us feel like valued guests. June's knowledge of the wines and willingness to answer our questions enhanced our overall experience and added a personal touch to our tasting journey.

Also, Frank and his wife, (Owners) were wonderful! their warm and genuine hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our time at the winery. They ensured that we had everything we needed.

We had the pleasure of staying in the beautiful AirBnB on-site. The house was thoughtfully designed, providing both comfort and luxury. Clean, well-appointed, and stocked with all the necessities, it truly felt like a home away from home. The serenity of waking up amidst the vineyards was an experience in itself.

From the exceptional wine to the kind and attentive service provided by June, and the heartfelt hospitality offered by Frank and his wife, our visit exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking grounds and top-notch Air BnB accommodation provided a serene backdrop for our stay. This winery is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a remarkable wine-tasting experience and a memorable retreat. Commisso Winery deserves a resounding 10 out of 10 rating, and we can't wait to return for another visit.

Was here over the weekend. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had at a winery ever. All the wine is great! The food was excellent. We had the flat bread pizza and the cheese plate. The owner and his wife both came out to introduce themselves, sit with us, ask about us and talk about the wines. Very very personable. June who was our hostess was absolutely amazing and if you get her, you will leave happy. I can’t rave about this enough and already looking forward to going back.

This was a winery where you get your tastings and the vibe is to relax. Enjoy the wine. Enjoy the company.
Not get in. Stay for 30mins with your only 4 tastings then leave so next group can come in.

An honestly fantastic experience. I was the designated driver and they offered an amazing expresso, free of charge, which was just incredible. The board was amazing, the gazebo was heated and protected from the wind and it was a beautiful property. I fully intend to go again!

I LOVE this winery. The property is impressive and the wines are divine. I had found out about this winery from my parents who attended one of the wine and paella nights. one of my favourites is the Syrah. During my time here, the owners had come over to talk with us and it elevated the experience. You can really tell how much hard work pays off when you hear Mr. Commisso talk about his process and the notes of the wine. We are 100% coming back with friends so they can also have the wonderful experience we did.
