“What a beautiful place to get away for the day and be immersed in nature. The trails are nice and wide, and relatively flat so most could enjoy it without concern for great technicality. Just an easy amble through the woods. The path markers were very clear, and none of the trails were particularly long. This time of your everything is covered in a soft bed of moss. I highly recommend going while it is raining or shortly after. The dense canopy above immerses you in its colour, and song. It was very busy, but you can pace yourself to wait 10 minutes in between each person's start time, that way it feels like you're secluded. Can't believe I've never been! Well worth the drive :)”

“Great place to visit! Perfect field trip for kids to learn about the pioneers. Our tour guide Beth did a wonderful job of bringing us back to 1908 and and told us about what school was like for the students who attended. They have great activities planned for Family day 2023!”
