Pretty cool spot for a walk around! Short trail with a parking lot and good views. The water is very muddy
Beautiful place to hike & enjoy some nature close to home. Be respectful & clean up your trash. Last few trips I've been cleaning up litter. Literally filling up my backpack each time. Thanks id sincerely appreciate it everyone!
Pro tip: park and enter just south of 10638 Quarry Rd.
Came on a Thursday, had the place almost to ourselves. The trail is quite exposed, so on a sunny day you'll want to be prepared. It's a cool place to explore, find fossils, and enjoy a different view.
This site used to be a limestone quarry. It's now naturalized into a wetland with hiking trail around it. We went there after a few days of rain, so part of the trail was muddy. But overall it's a nice and quiet trail and our dog loves it too.
Very interesting place. May find old dinosaur fiossils
