Riverside Oasis Farm - Best Yurt Glamping in Niagara, ON

Thank goodness this place exists. Stayed a night in the Kandy Yurt with a few girlfriends (4 total) and it was amazing. We all wished we’d booked an extra night. We visited during March and although it was a little chilly outside, the yurt was warm and cozy! We enjoyed the animals, had a nice walk around the property, and enjoyed our time chatting and cooking around the fire pit. We brought all of our own food & drinks, but the yurt was well supplied with cooking utensils, dishes, and glasses. Definitely recommend bringing water if staying more than 1 night with 2+ people. The farm fresh eggs provided were excellent! And we were thrilled to purchase the softest alpaca socks and slippers and the best honey I’ve ever tasted from the hosts. We felt so refreshed and happy after our night in the yurt. We look forward to coming back!

On February 3rd, we had the pleasure of staying in the Kandy Yurt at Riverside Oasis, which provided us with an exceptional experience. Our family, consisting of four members, found the accommodations to be perfectly suited to our needs, ensuring a comfortable and warm environment, thanks in part to the wood fireplace included within the yurt. The presence of farm animals added a delightful touch to our stay, and the provided charcuterie board was both delicious and greatly appreciated. Our children particularly enjoyed the opportunity to feed and closely observe the animals, adding a unique and educational aspect to our visit. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, displaying a continuous commitment to enhancing the property. We highly recommend Riverside Oasis for those seeking a distinctive and memorable experience.

If it was possible to give Riverside Oasis a higher rating I would! It's an absolutely beautiful and charming Farm. The owners Assyl & Michael are lovely,and very helpful. The Kandy yurt is beautifully crafted. It was fantastic to go out in the canoe, see/get close to so many of the Farm animals, as well as feed some of the animals, getting to see the animals evening routine as they go back into the barn and we enjoyed fresh farm eggs for breakfast over a campfire. It really is an Oasis! Our kids loved it so much that they keep telling us they miss the yurt and the animals! Highly recommend. We will come back again.

What a getaway! Our stay in the Kandy yurt was a perfect way to decompress. Lots of firewood was available to heat the yurt and visiting with the animals was probably my favourite part. We appreciated the farm tour and enjoyed learning about the farm and the animals. We can’t wait to book again for when the weather is warmer!

We had an absolutely amazing time! Must have solid fire making and maintenance skills if you’re going in the winter, as this is needed to keep you warm. I’ve been an avid camper for decades, so this wasn’t an issue for me. Otherwise, you might want to plan a trip in the summer or fall when fires are optional. The animals were so fun, and the owner was super helpful and friendly. Two baby lambs were born the day we arrived, which was incredible. Such a unique and wonderful experience overall.
